Really just echoing Northerndave666's comment.
Your GP is there to help you. Having a good GP, even one you get along with, can make all the difference to your treatment journey. Never feel embarrassed, i'm not even in my early 30s yet mate but I've just accepted it about myself.
Every now and again, needing a blue pill doesn't detract from who I am as a person.
Very fortunately my GP is sound and a genuinely lovely fella. Talked my options through with him and he just put Sildenafil (unbranded Viagra) on my repeats. I do get some side-effects. Mostly palpitations & my head feels a bit like an exploding beetroot... along with other parts of my anatomy.
But, being able to talk to a GP about these side-effects put my mind a rest.
There are other treatment options too, depending on what is going on in your life at the mo. ED can be linked to how you're feeling in yourself. I've had stints doing CBT before which did help, but having the physical pill backup gives me certainty.
As Dave mentioned, buying online is always risky. I feel perfectly safe picking my tabs up from the local pharmacy, knowing they are the real deal.
Hope everything works out
