I spoke to Niki on the phone to prebook an appointment for the next day at 12, followed by a confirmation text. She responded with acknowledgment.

On the day, I texted her as well. I arrived at the location, called her and she said she needed 30 minutes as she wasn’t even at the house (I have reasons to doubt this). I went to a nearby Church and waited. Called again 30 minutes later and she then said 15 minutes more... After 15 minutes, she stopped responding to calls and texts.

I suspect she double booked as I saw a lad walk in the direction of her house just before I got there. He was on the same bus as me but outpaced me to the location.

After waiting almost an hour, I texted her to say I was leaving. It was a very polite text to say I will try again another time. I left the Church and went on my merry way.

Since then I've been trying to get in touch to arrange another booking (while she's been green) but it seems she has blocked my number...

Commiserations to you...

I get it that it could be tricky arranging appointments and all that, but some of these just don't seem to have an ounce of compassion and thought for guys that in some cases have gone to a lot of preparation and trouble, maybe set up scenarios with family members etc, not to mention the build up of anticipation...

to only be let down by the shattering disappointment of a failed meet
