...who's profiles have gone? perhaps on a holiday, extended leave or stopped working (who knows?)

Should review or not?

This bit from the rules seems clear:

Reviews must contain a link, contact details or address (if publicised by the service provider).

I think that all of them should be reviewed.

The fact that a profile is currently inactive doesn't matter.

Quite often we see girls mothballing their profiles, or re-surfacing with a new profile. Her previous reviews on an old profile can be re-indexed alongside the new profile.

If the reviewer knows their AW ID and obviously he knows where he punted her, then he can review.

The rules do not state the the profile has to be live at the time of posting the review.

Cool, hadn't thought of that

It kinda depends imho. I wouldn't bother if the advert was anywhere other than AW and was down. If it was from AW, if the SP had form for removing the profile when not available then review, if you know she has retired, probably not, unless form for "retiring" then popping back up a few months later.

If you don't know the AW ID, you can search the reviews for previous reviews and get the link from there.

surely the thing to do is for the OP to report his own post and allow a MOD to answer the question rather than guys saying "i think...." or "IMO...." etc.  (Rules are not about "IMO" or "i think" - if the current rules aren't clear enough in a certain situation then the Mods can discuss it between themselves and clarify for us. )

I think the rules are pretty clear.
