*To tout for business with someone you knew were interested? You used to get flirts and proposals via Adultwork.
*Given they had made a civvie approach and hinted as sex work she may have been checking to see if he was a punter - she may decide that she is unwilling to proceeed on a civvie basis but is open to another kind of interaction
*To check out whether they have been banned for any number of unsuitable behaviours towards SPs.

And as the Doc said, it was just hypothetical, I could have said SAAFE or ugly mugs for inappropriate behaviour from a punter towards SPs in public.

And checks do take place, there is the telephone numebr database of dodgy punters. And one has to question a whole load of things from the origianl story (Apart from the weird and creepy behaviour)...did he send the initial ignored messages from his punting or normal phone? And then the booking was this from a punting phone?

So you have a potential link between a punter - who presumably wishes to be anonymous - to his own phone (with all the dangers and links to other media this brings) and now to this story and all of the other punts in history. If the story is true, and I think there is truth in it, then it leads to a whole load of questions. I don't really wish to investigate it, I just think it is legitimate to detail that such actions are creepy and slightly stalkerish. In my opinion, of course.

I was cogitating about this thread recently just on account of women I've 'seen around'.  In both cases it's not so much I'd even think about propositioning them in any capacity but more that my tastes as a punter tends towards GND.  In both cases it's women who I see regularly (OK, receptionist at work and barmaid in a pub I sometimes go in).  One's a thicc black British bird, the other a chebby EE with it all well displayed but no 'stunner'.  Both are at least 20 years younger than me so it's not even a case of me being single and on apps I might get lucky.

In both cases I've punted women like that and seen regularly afterwards, for instance AlexandraBlack when she first pitched up.  Now there's just nothing on the market in London like that, unless anyone can say otherwise.

So, whilst it wouldn't be my choice of opening gambit, and the scope for causing great offence will be considerable, you never know.

Probably pretty close to the original supposition. When I was 41 working in a town in the south west, I had popped out for lunch and saw a girl sat on a wall outside the bakery I was going into. Nothing that special, 19 years old, lovely face though and gave me an immediate twitch. I did try the holiday money trick again but either it wasn't understood as clearly or it was a straight polite rejection. I do find though that young single mothers are very grateful by guys not looking to fuck them who are nice, polite, thoughtful, treat them like women and not mothers, and surprisingly generous with no expectation. Had a couple of good fucks in bedsits from that. Happy to buy a load of baby clothes in primark or a job lot of nappies but certainly not a handbag or pair of jimmy choos.
