Communication
Initially messaged on AW, quickly got her number and switched to WhatsApp. Agreeing on the booking was straightforward, with a phone call used to screen. Communication afterwards was a pure disaster from the SP.

Location
Hotel in East London.

Price
£500 for two hours. £150 deposit to secure the booking. £350 in person. The meeting did not happen, and currently, as of writing, I am down £150.

Appearance
Cannot confirm.

Meet
We arranged to meet at a specific time, and she agreed to it with no problem. Booking request sent off (never fully confirmed though – so no chance of AW feedback with a rating).

Four hours or so before the time, she requests to push back by 30 minutes due to some last minute changes. I give her an out right there, but she messages a couple of hours later, saying all fine (this is now 90 minutes before the new agreed time).

The “new” agreed booking time comes, and right on the dot, I get a long message claiming her friend has locked themselves out, and she needs to get there to let them in. I offer to shorten the booking time immediately, but surprise, surprise, she turns off her phone right after sending the message.

Effectively makes me a passive participant in this whole scenario. Quite frustrating to be honest.

I leave it there. She responds again the next day with a lengthy message, saying she sprained her ankle quite badly (even sends a photo), and also mentions being upset due to an argument with the friend mentioned above. Claimed if it wasn’t for the ankle, she would have tried to see me in the morning.

Another footnote at the end of a long message of excuses, she asks when I’d next be available. I state September. Now, after I have a proper look a few hours later, realise it is a no go. So I message back asking, can’t actually meet, just send me a refund of the deposit.

Leaves me on read, and has since been active online, with no refund in sight.

Since the beginning, she has completely prioritised herself, with zero respect for me and my time. I was the flexible thing to be moved around at will. Completely unprofessional, and personally, in my mind, an utter scammer.

She is the type of person who unconsciously (or consciously) creates chaos around commitments.

Given my previous experience with her and her communication style, I figured it was worth another chance. However, £150 in the grand scheme of things is a relatively inexpensive way to find out the true nature of a person.

Sounds terrible.

Like me, you are an optimist, want to see the best in people and be accommodating and forgiving within reason. Annoying when it gets thrown back in your face sometimes.

You're right, being accommodating has its limits. I've learned that clear boundaries benefit everyone involved. Appreciate the perspective.

How long has it been since you requested the deposit return?

Long enough. But having to chase a refund after being stood up isn't the real issue; it's that in her barrage of excuses, she never once offered it. Just highlights the disrespect. All documented in the review. Been around long enough to know when money's gone, if it returns, it's a surprise, not an expectation.

Sorry to hear OP.

IMO her excuses are complete bullshit. When they double up and even treble up the reasons it always sounds phoney. The locked out friend, the arguement and the sprained ankle, she might as well have said

“I had a flat tire then I had to save a granny in front of a running train then I had to fight off 10 mma trained fighters who tried to rob me and I had the flu.”

Better luck with the next one

You've nailed it. The avalanche of excuses was almost impressive in its creativity. Each message brought a new dramatic twist. At least it makes for a good story and hopefully saves others the same expensive lesson.

I am really sorry to read your testimony, MLawro93. I have been here many times before myself.

My episodes have been for sums much larger. They just draw you in and sometimes you get so deep you get committed for more before you realise it you are down a significant sum of money.

Sometimes you need to take a while to recover financially, but in the end its the emotional damage and loss of trust. The innocence and the feeling of you see the good in all people and faith in human good nature.

But alas no. Some people are just not built the same.

My comiserations, MLawro93.

Cheers, appreciate the thoughtful words. Sorry, you've been through similar and worse, by the sounds of it. You're right, it's the trust and faith in people that takes the real hit. Still trying to keep that balance between caution and cynicism. Made it more surprising coming from someone positively reviewed. Live and learn though  :)

Has since reluctantly sent back the deposit. Did take a review and feedback to get off her arse to send it though.

In future, for this chaos merchant, never pay her a deposit if you are tempted to book.

What was she reluctant about? She didn't make the agreed date that the deposit was based on ... should be a no-brainer imo.

Someone immediately ran to tell Ellie about this review. What a mug.

She's now moaning at me, fixated on her sprained ankle whilst forgetting she first said a friend was locked out. Also forgetting: she rescheduled 9pm to 9:30pm, confirmed at 8pm, cancelled at exactly 9:30pm, went dark, ignored my refund request whilst online, and only paid up after the review and feedback.

Now claims some random new client booking a threesome read this, thought it was 'ridiculous' and sent a deposit anyway. Just so random, what?

Surprised you didn't block her already. Why continue to engage in tit for tat? You thinking of giving her another shot eventually?

Been busy recently, just forgot to block her. Nah, blacklisted her permanently. Not worth the time of day this one.
