Noticed that a few Escorts in my area SE/SW have put their prices up recently.  Is this a general trend?  Prices seem to have been static for the past few years.

I’ve always worked things out like this. If I don’t think something is worth the asking price. I think hard about whether or not to pay for it. 🤷🏼

All sorts of reasons why SP’s put their prices up.
Rent going up, travel going up, condom inflation. Or of course some might just think they are worth more than they were last year.

I’m not sure anyone can say it’s out of order. 😂

And are these "some" the same ones that have raised prices? Maybe your "some " are quiet because they are not all that good and people don't want to book them at any rate. Maybe the one raising prices are busy because they are good and want/need to manage demand whilst maximising their earnings.

Of course it could be good old hooker math at play, It's quiet, I'm not making enough money, an extra £20 an hour should help.

OP, I can't say I've noticed much of a rise in rates in Scotland, if anything the headline rate has come down in some quarters, mostly the brazillians, a few years ago most were asking £180-200, now it's more like £140-180. But both of those were/are plus extras.

As Stevelondon says, it's down to us to decide if we are prepared to pay the rate being asked. Personally I have to really want to see someone if the rate is above £200/hr. Not saying it's a hard line, but it;s definitely a hard think. Weirdly I think it's more a mental block than anything else. If an SP I've seen put her rates up to £190, no problem. £200, I won't rule out a visit, but it's unlikely, for me that's heading towards pornstar territory.

But that said in my head a new fiesta should be about £10k (well if they still made them). That's the car not the jazz mag btw.

On an individual basis I don't think I'd make any difference, but in any market if there is a lot of chatter around an issue, it factors into decision makers thinking, but as I have said, that's not why I discuss prices.

I can't put my finger on any specific examples, but I'm sure I've seen service providers pull back on increases when it's been discussed on here, and I know of a girl in a parlour who has reacted to the general noise she hears, and doesn't charge the silly extras other girls do in that parlour.

I don't think it's negative, and I'm certainly positive about many things on here, and as I have said I don't discuss price increases on here to expect SPs to drop them on the back of what I say.
I just understand people want to vent their frustration from time to time, and it seems perfectly acceptable to me to highlight and discuss silly prices and increases.

But as Davie says, everyone is free to choose to charge or pay what they want, and it's really easy for anyone not interested in the topic - choose not to open the threads.

In fact when Stansted escorts were operating their incall places in Cambridge they were charging around 130 odd an hour this was around 2006!.. 19 blinking years ago!
