Should I automatically post a negative for a ghosted/no show?

Of course !

If she confirmed a booking then didn't show its absolutely a negative.

99% of the time yes, the only exception i'd say is if she contacts you to give a reason that you believe and is acceptable / you believe to be a genuine reason.

I had this once with a girl who was heavily pregnant (bucket list item) who couldn't make the meet as she got delayed having tests in hospital but didn't have her work phone with her

You should take some poetic license with that story, she went into hospital and was no longer pregnant and could not find a baby sitter.

A no show for an agreed booking is a NEGATIVE in my book.

Even an attempt to unreasonably delay an agreed booking is a negative for me.

The most common delay tactic ruse is for the SP to say the landlord is here.

It would have to be a negative

Your review, your rating.

But as others have said whereas normally you may decide on that rating moving upwards or downwards from a neutral position, in such a case you are moving from a negative default. But there may be mitigating factors.

I agree that ghosting is almost always a negative.

The only way this is not the case is if the escort then contacts you and offers something to make amends. For examples, "I will do 1 hour for the 30 minute price" or "Anal is usually extra, but you can have it for free".

Offline Barneypunt

Could be a positive because you’ve saved money  :D

Offline Munter84

Ditto to the majority: ALMOST always an instant negative. Simply turning up (or being available) when agreed is the most basic, fundamental part of delivering any service. If you can't get that right then you've fallen at the first, easiest hurdle.

The occasional exception is if the SP provides a timely and believable explanation (the offer of a freebie or preferential booking is appreciated but never expected at this point - I understand SPs are only human and shit happens). In my experience it's about 50-50 whether this will result in a redemption punt or further misery!

op - i know you asked the question but:

Your review, your rating.

100% correct - its your rating, making your own decision because:

- its your review and you are the only one who knows how you feel taking into account ALL the circumstances. say if she messaged you the day after and apologised with the genuine reason and not a made up one  (eg so sorry, i was out with friends and simply forgot) and then offered you another meet at half price which turned out to be great! Does that warrant a "negative"? some would say yes and some would say no. but only you can know how you feel about things.
- the actual rating is only part of the review and some would say not the most important bit - the detail is the most important. guys like and dislike different things so they can make their own minds up based on what you write and not just the rating.
- of course other members can give opinions, however, we should not try to influence you to change or make a rating to what we think is correct.

I've read a few positive reviews and they scream negative to me, there's no way I would punt them.

I've also read negatives for a No Show, but punted anyway with caution of my time being wasted.

It's all in the details.

It shouldn't matter what she offers afterwards. The fact of the matter is, you arranged the punt, and she let you down. Of course it's a negative !. If she offers something extra on a future punt, then rate her on that separately.

reads a bit like you are telling him what to do but - thats your view / opinion and you are entitled to it - but unless its your review, its not your decision!

And a no show even after a deposit was taken for a high end SP?

Got the deposit back but without any offer of compensation for the next time which she offered that week.

It seemed so out of character that I held back from posting a negative review, so made a mental note to hold back for a few weeks and then forgot all about it.

Offline petermisc

If you turn up at the door and get no response, or you are waiting in your hotel room and she doesn't arrive, then definitely a negative.  But I wouldn't class someone who cancels well in advance (such as the day before) as a no show.  In such a case I probably wouldn't review.  Unless she did it a second time.

Getting my deposit back for a no show wouldn't affect my rating, as it should be a given.  Not getting the deposit back on the other hand would be an automatic negative.  Not that I would pay a deposit in the first place.  I have occasionally paid a transport fee in advance for an outcall, and I would likewise expect to get that back for a no show.
