AV. Your thoughts? and is there anyway to circumvent this rubbish?

“Age verification” (AV) is the requirement for online platforms to implement strict methods to verify the age of their users, in order to prevent minors from accessing adult content.

These sites usually work with a 3rd party verifier which requires you to show some form of ID, (Passport, DL, etc). Annoying as hell.

As has been said, tons of threads already on this and the answer is VPN.

I do wonder how some other small p punters will fare though, visiting brothels and prozzies on VS I often see men who can best be described as on the lower income strata and semi-recent arrivals to the UK who will be less tech savvy and unable to get round it (in fact the vast majority of other customers I see going in/out fit this description).  They're not likely to be on here but may hear about such things from mates I suppose (in relation to porn).  But there will be an initial hit to trade I suppose, a few Brazilians and Colombians will be wondering WTF this weekend.
