Post meeting blackmail threats

How common is it that you guys receive a message or voice call after a meet or after enquiring about a meet, making threats or demanding money? I never thought about this until recently when I read a post on here… it’s enough to make me think twice about contacting an SP…is it mostly EE / Thai girls this kind of thing has been happening with ? For anyone whose experienced this it must be scary if on the off chance they could identity you in some way

It's probably only risky if you are using your 'main' phone. Use a burner or punting phone that you don't use for anything else. I've had a phone call and couple few texts from people trying it on (probably because I was flinging out messages left right and centre to all the deposit scam Vivastreet ads on the off-chance one of them was legit) I offered to meet one of the people who tried to extort me, but he didn't take me up on it.

There are also apps you can install on your own phone if you don't want to carry an extra one which generate a second number for you to message with. I've been using one called 'Textme' - the free version of which is full of annoying ads but there's an option to subscribe and go ad free which I might do at some point.

Don't sweat it too much - these people are probably about as up for confrontation as we all are - mostly they are trying to scare people. I wonder what percentage of the people they do this to actually pay up..?

It is mostly the Romanian ones where you get threatening text messages after you contact them.

Always use a punting phone and just block em and more on.

Can't say it's ever happened to me and don't expect it to for a few reasons. Wouldn't really work on me anyways, nothing to lose or hide so I'd be more than happy to go ask the police if they want an easy conviction. Interesting episode of 24 hours in police custody on that topic.

Got one of those threatening texts this morning, you know the ones, along the lines of "You booked my escort and didn't show up, you wasted my time, I know where your family is, let's keep this easy and send £500 or I'll come round your house". Same script they always use. Deleted and blocked.

Anyway, got a phone call on my punting phone 10 mins later off a different number, answered without thinking, but instead of a person speaking, they were using an automated voice service (like text to speech), it was totally robotic with a 5 second pause so the software could process what you said and use AI to generate a reply. I put on my best fake American accent and had this hilarious exchange:

Pimp: Hello
Me: Hello
(5 sec pause)

Pimp: Can you hear me, I want you to listen very carefully
Me: I can't hear you, I need you to shout
(5 sec pause)

Pimp: I'm afraid I cannot increase my volume. Can you hear me, I want you to listen very carefully.
Me: Ok, what's your message?
(5 sec pause)

Pimp: My name is Asif. You booked my escort and did not show up. You wasted my time and I lost a lot of money. Now you need to pay me. I know your name, I know where you live...
Me (interrupting): Ok, what's my name?
(5 sec pause)

Pimp: I cannot give you that information, but trust me that I know your name, I know where you live....
Me (interrupting): Do you offer anal sex?
(5 sec pause)

Pimp: That is not relevant to our conversation. Now you must pay me urgently so my men don't come to your house...
Me (interrupting): I don't live in a house, I live on Mars
(5 sec pause)

Pimp: Mars is the address we have for you, my men will come round your house if we do not receive the money..
(Hung up)

I always get the feeling when I read things like this, that it's targeted based on the probability of your demographic falling for such baloney. I alternate between my personal and punting phone, depending on how well I know the lady, and not once have I had an unsolicited text from an SP outside of touting or gift requests. And this is after bumping into many Sergeis in person, over the years.

It doesn't make it any less concerning to read about something like this, nonetheless. But it would have me thinking I'd be better off going agency-only, for safety, if I ever got targeted. First phone calls, then what next?

I got one of those texts recently, after trawling through and messaging Brazilian hotties on Viva street. I guess some profiles are setup to farm numbers? Anyway blocked, I also block anon numbers on my punting phone.

That was a bent copper who put a note on the punter's car then used police resources to blackmail him, the BB queen who he saw had nothing to do with it.
