Punting out of habit rather than real desire?

My last punt was a week ago and this would normally keep me ok for a couple of weeks.

A couple of days ago I noticed a girl who I had an ok time with before was touring to my town so I booked her for an hour on Saturday.

This morning I woke up and realised that I was not excited about the meet and felt resentful about the money I was going to spend so I made up an excuse and cancelled.

This actually feels liberating and I have decided to spend the money I have saved on some tools and gadgets that I have been hankering after for a while.

Taking a broader look at my punting history some of my least inspired punts have been second visits to tourers where I have booked due to their schedule rather than my desire to punt.

If the girl I cancelled had been around in a fortnight then I probably would have been drooling for her.

Sorry this is a bit or a ramble but does anyone else relate to it? Maybe the lessening desire to punt is a symptom of age?

So this ok SP was touring near you.
I’m pretty sure if I had seen someone and it had just been ok…….. I might have reservations about seeing them again. 🤷🏼

I suppose age comes into your equation.
Personally speaking I’ve always punted when I felt like it. I’ve punted on the spur (but not much) and I’ve punted in advance.
Not sure anything’s changed for me over the last couple of decades really and I’m now a pensioner. 🤷🏼

PDan..I'm 73,punted  for over 40yrs and I was starting,a few years ago,to feel the same as you seem to be feeling no. So I now change things around....sometimes I do a Vanilla punt,sometimes a sex party with the old birds at Club69 in Leicester, and then like tonight I've booked into to see a Femdom,not sure how that will go,but hey sex is sex..variety is the spice....shake things up,change things around!..I'm quite excited about tonight and it's only 06.15am.

I can relate to you specially when one's on a budget. Also I prefer a spontaneous short notice punt as the desires there. Whereas ones that you book in advance a few days or even a week the desire seems to go by the time the appointment comes. I have cancelled a couple of times where I've booked well in advance but on the day the desires gone though to minimise the cancellation I usually make sure I don't have a wank or anyone few days before hand to keep the spirit alive. But I prefer on the spot straight away bookings as the hunger is there. Used to have a few regulars that I could contact anytime and just turn up within minutes but sadly they're gone now.

I used to shag out of habit, but now I'm becoming a bit more selective and not shagging unless I see someone that really grabs my attention. I used to see three or four SPs a week just for something to do in the evenings. It was fun for a while, but it hard work finding three or four new SPs a week. Now I read a book and let it build for a few weeks. It is more enjoyable.

This is a good point. I find it's better to have a temporary break every now and then to get the enthusiasm back ( and save cash or use your cash for other treats )
