Punted yesterday.
I attacked it like this.

Bus to start with. Fuckin hot. The lass sitting next to me in a one piece gym outfit didn’t bloody help much.
Journeys end, into the pub for a refreshing shandy. Thankfully air con cool.
Short walk to rail station and a bloody old style train so feckin hot again.
Change to tube. Hot.
Short walk from station to another pub. Glass of water and a white wine spritzer cheers. Five minute stroll to punting venue.
Jump in shower. Down to business. Quick splash to end off things and back on the tube to an old hunting ground to see some mates.
Piece of cake.

It's annoying me.  After hardly punting for a year because of personal issues, I felt ready to return at last, found a great looking new option available tomorrow and have been looking forward to it all week.  But now I think its probably far too hot.  I know the venue, no A/C, not great in lesser heatwaves than this.

I solved the concern that it might be too hot to punt tomorrow by going for a punt this evening 

Wasn't too bad at that hour TBH.  Might go again tomorrow

Definitely not. I know a thing or two about pub crawls.

I’m very much an aficionado of the pub/punt/pub style of punting.
Unless I’ve had to drive to a venue of course. Then it’s a case of ‘Never drink and punt’

I'm not surprised there's been no massage reviews in NW since these latest heatwaves started.

I had a scare a few years ago.
Very hot day and the massage bed was heated.
No shower available.
Walked to car which had been parked in the sun and was stifling inside.
Went to drive off and almost fainted.

Possibly a combination of the heat and humidity, old age, dehydration, combining BP meds with sildenefil and /or very slow heart rate.
I was a long way from home so quite worrying.

Make sure you drink loads of water.

Yes bear in mind that some medications can affect your body's ability to cope with the heat. Must maintain hydration. Also make sure your meds are stored in a cool place.

Punted in this heat with an Asian SP, and it was hot and sweaty.
She had the fan blowing at us and a window open wide for ventilation with only blinds in to protect passers by looking in.
Best punt in a while, only added some spice when she made some noise that anyone could hear as the window was facing the street.

It is too hot to punt in this heat for me. In the winter it is too cold for me to punt as I don't like to arrive with my nose
dripping and my fingers and face frozen. I reckon there is an ideal fairly narrow temperature range to punt.

I’m curious how many of those complaining about the heat would turn down a free fuck holiday in Thailand Pattaya if given an opportunity? 38C is just about an average daily there!

The UK is not equipped for anything except very mild weather, but we are fast moving away from that! I hope that in the future things like AC become the norm rather than the exception.

Personally don't mind punting in the heat, just change the punt to focus much more on oral, which makes for me anyway, since I generally do prefer it that way! If the SP has AC, then carry on as normal.

Some SPs even use the portable ACs which are rather loud and inefficient, but it still does the job.

There is definitely a sweet spot, but too hot is just too hot.
