Can anyone recommend a hotel at Manchester airport that does not use key card access for the lifts ?

I was planning to stay at the Radisson as its handy for walking to terminal one

cheers

Britannia airport hotel used to be a good place for punting. Not been for a few years but saw a couple of Wg’s there over the years.

I was going to say, I think every Radisson uses key cards for the lifts - I tend to only stay in them and always need keycard

It's an absolute sithole nowadays, read the reviews.

Both airport Premier Inns don't have key card access for the lifts.

The only hotel at the airport with simple access was the Etrop Grange.

But it may have changed now  :unknown:

??

The Etrop is further away than the Holiday Inn, The Double tree, Crown plaza , Clayton and Crown Plaza plus the Radisson which is the closest of them all

The Etrop is the other side of a busy dual carriageway

Agreed.

I was only suggesting based on it’s not fancy and suspect the door locks are easier

I've always used the Marriott, two decent restaurants, lots of people coming and going. But you'd have to use the shuttle bus. I used to book it on dayuse.co.uk when meeting up with SB's, nice lunch and then retire to the room for a few hours ...

I have recently stayed at the fairly new, Tribe hotel and found it to be excellent, with easy walking to all terminals. Breakfast was better than I've had at the Radisson (used to stay there regularly) and about £90 cheaper.

You’ve only done one review matey, and not a sausage in 10 years, if you could explain please.

That place used to be a punting powerhouse. Same with the Brittania country club Didsbury and the Brittania Stockport. Girls don’t work from either of them anymore.

Always got the feeling that the staff were well aware of what was going on in the Brittania near the airport.

I’ve stayed in the crown Plaza quite recently. I would say it’s ideal for a meet. The reception is very busy with countless passengers checking in and out awaiting flights so anyone visiting you would be lost in the crowd.
