When walking into a new massage shop for the first time how do you tell if it’s legit or not , how do you broach the subject of extras, is it a simple matter of just asking or are there signals to look out for ?

Pants on or pants off for the massage - pants on usually means legit

If there are extras you get a few sensual touches from the provider and then they'll ask the question "Do you want anything extra?" and go from there.

Offline Adoniron

No need to ask. If it's legit she may be offended. If it's not she will ask you.

Offline maybe

usually if they have a uniform the chance of it being legit are much higher.

No need to do anything. In shops where extras are on offer the girl makes most of her money that way so unless she thinks you’re dodgy in some way, she’ll make sure you have the opportunity to get what you want. If you feel her hands straying to interesting areas make sure you signal your enjoyment and everything will work out fine. If in doubt do nothing as genuine massagers dont need to be hassled by us horny bastards when they are just trying to do their job. As has been said if you’re explicitly asked to keep your pants on, it’s probably legit

You dont, unless you want to be thrown out, better wait for the girl to ask

Indeed,  but I've quite often been to establishments which emphasise 'no sexual services' on the internet advert, with further notices in the reception and even inside the room, but extras have been offered, so it's often not as simple as that.

Usually If you're asked to fill in a form and to leave your underwear on its very likely to be legit.

In my experience all massage places have a 'No sexual service' somewhere in the room. Obviously it's ignored. One way to get an idea is the way the girls are dressed. If they have a very short skirt, it's often a good sign. If their hands go to interesting area's I usually say 'mm, very nice' just so she knows I'm up for it.  Several times I've had my hands resting on the top of the table, and when she stood there she placed my hands on her bum.  Just enjoy it!

In a lot of places or is down to the individual girl, not the establishment. If you ask in advance you will probably be asking the manager or receptionist who will always say "no", regardless of what the girl might actually offer. And you might find you are then refused any kind of service - they can be understandably touchy!

The only real way to tell is to look on here and see what experiences others have had. For me not knowing where it might go is part of the excitement.

A bigger issue for me is playing the masseuse lottery and running the risk of getting someone who may not be physically attractive to be.

Another way is obviously to check UKP for reviews or intel.  :hi:

A lot of good tips above, but my main indicator is the price; if it's £25 for 30 mins, £40 for 60 mins or thereabouts I'd be fully expecting extras to be offered.  If it's 70/80 upwards for the hour, possibly legit, as that's enough for the business to survive on.

As others have said, part of the fun of this type of pursuit is the "WSWS?" question  ;)

Offline Munter84

Signs it's NOT legit only:
- If the place looks a bit grotty or dubious. Late opening hours, LED sign in the window.
- Low door fee, say £50 for a hour. Suggests the real money is made from "tips"
- Walk-ins, no appointment needed
- No discussion of your reason for being there, injuries, rehab, skin conditions, the type of oil you want... just "you get on table, I come back"

Ultimately though you just have to bite the bullet, if it's an unreviewed place. If extras are on offer the girl is usually forthcoming, you won't have to convince her.

Offline martin1964

Legit places tend to close by 6PM and may not open at weekends. Most of the places that offer extras are open until 10PM and at the weekends. Most people who just want a massage are unlikely to want one at 8PM on a Friday, however, those that want extras do!

Also if there's mention of things like “4 hands” on websites etc which is often a giveaway that extras are available.

In my considerable experience the presence of uniforms or signs on the wall have very little correlation to the probability of the provision of actual sexual services at all.

In one single shop you can have staff who do provide extras and ones who don't.  Investment in time and money and walking away with blue balls afterwards on rare occasions are sadly all part of the hobby.

Even SPs themselves can vary and be weirdly contradictory.  I didn't really have much hope with a lady in a white doctor's coat who only allowed light touching over it on my first visit and always tried to avoid her afterwards.  On the third or fourth visit the coat was hung on the back of the door and after the flip she was laid back on the table with me on top of and inside her.

When they call with the police when you inappropriately touch them and act like a perv asking for extras.

It's been discussed previously, but in times past, the inclusion of an orchid in the online advert was an accurate indicator of more than just a massage being on offer

If only the type of orchid could signify the age, beauty and services of the ladies within... Or even the shape of their whowhos.

A modern myth , a bit like towels folded into the shape of swans has any meaning  :D

One thing that might help is when they ask you what type of massage you want, in the past I have always said relaxing, and have never had any issues with getting a HE or more. Th other day, I went to a place I have been quite frequently so knew they did extras, but asked for a deep tissue massage as should was playing up. Completely different approach , they put towel over you etc and try to be a bit more professional, As mentioned had been there many times, and the lass as she was doing her stuff - which really did help my shoulder - she was positioned so my hand was down by her leg, started to just gently stroke it, that soon got her into the mood for more cash and B2B

Look on here first. Simple.
Its unlikely your actually going to be their first ever customer.....

I usually work on the principle if they grab your cock on the way in extras may be available.

Indeed. For me I actually enjoy a good massage so if it turns out that no extras are offered but the massage is good then I'm still happy: if the massage is good and there are extras that are reasonably priced and delivered well then I'm even happier. What I don't really want is poor massage for 10 minutes just rubbing the same spot and onto the HE. If it's just a quick rub and tug you're it's often cheaper and better delivered by a SP who does a 15 minute quickie.

Not been able to have a massage - legit or otherwise - for a few weeks as have had a hip op and currently in rehab period where there are limits on what you should and shouldn't do. What had been painful for a good while had been my ability to open my legs wide to give massage provider full access. Now doing rehab exercises which include opening legs as wide as comfortably possible, I'm envisaging what next visit to one of my favourite providers is going to bring.

Slightly surprised by OP's initial post. There's been some good info provided in subsequent posts but Clockface hasn't posted back on this thread. And looking through his posts and reviews many/most are about visits to massage providers and the extras on offer. So he obviously has some success in this area of punting and knows how to spot a 'sure thing' which makes me think he has something to contribute to help others whether legit or not. Or has he encountered a run of legit shops which he hasn't reviewed.

Or as it's known in reviews, a "hopeful sign".
