After an unfulfilling few hours at Rio's, I was walking back to Camden station.

Almost missed this place - just a little open doorway between shops with downward staircase.

Rio's, you have to bring your own fun, I used to bring a Brazilian lady who liked to play around.

Never been to Rio's but heard bad things about it from women saying even on "couples night" there's men who use a woman to get in then maul and attempt penetration without consent (just being there being consent, apparently). Appeals to staff for help ignored etc.

I went to the Paradise once (Becontree), a passing dog walker called me a pervert as I stood waiting to be let in. Once inside very unclean and only a handful of non-playing couples sat at the bar and there old men walking around in towels. Bloke gave me my money back and said come back on a weekend.

Rio's is now £34 for single men and £40 for couples.

No more couples night on Saturday.

No more nude nights on Monday - Wednesday.

As has been mentioned on numerous occasions - never ever go there expecting any action.

I go 2 or 3 times a year just to see what's happening.

Haven't been with a (paid for)lady friend for a very long time - not sure I could be bothered anymore.
