I have been enjoying quality time with my partner recently (at the expense of punting). She is quite shy and prude but accepted to spend time in a nude resort of some kind.

I've travelled through some of the former Eastern bloc EU countries, Slovenia, Slovakia etc. Routinely people will be naked (mixed male / female) in the hotel spas.

As others have said, they are mostly fat old people, not hotties to be seen.

You say she's shy and prudish so i'm surprised she's happy with this at all, perhaps she has reluctantly agreed but feels pressured into doing it by you 

The thing is that if she's prudish then it's hardly likely that she will be prepared to peel off herself in a nude resort or location / setting
Not that i've ever been myself but I was under the impression that if someone is in such a place then it's frowned upon by the nudists if people go but keep their clothes on 

As an aside over 30 years ago I was on a beach in Dorset that was normal one end and nude the other, me and another lad hired a double canoe type thing to go for a paddle and set off, it wasn't our intention to go and gawp at the nudists but that's just the way we went, think it may have been against the current.
Anyway as we paddled through the water 30 or 40 metres from the shore there was a middle age bloke and woman just walking starkers into the water and I did a double take when I saw what the guy was packing

We have now decided to head to a swinger club here in the UK first before committing to a trip abroad. Idea is not to swing but try to get naked in front of strangers.

But I will look into that French resort you've mentioned.
