Messed around on this one.

Enquired about availability in the morning for a mid afternoon appointment. Time agreed and booking confirmed - all pretty straightforward so far.

Drove for 50 minutes to address near the Jewellery quarter and parked up 2 minutes before appointment time to see that Sara had sent 3 texts 20 minutes beforehand (all within 1 minute) first text asking me to confirm if the booking was still on, second text hot on the heels with "??"  and then 3rd text saying she had booked someone else and was no longer available.  All 3 texts looked to have been sent immediately after one another so even if I had not been driving there would have been no time to respond.
I
Contacted her on parking ( still before the agreed appointment time) to express my annoyance (politely) at the cancellation and was offered another appointment 45 mins later that I declined telling her she had already wasted my time.

She then somehow managed to find the time over the next 15 mins (bearing in mind she said she had booked someone else) to send another 10 texts along the lines of, "you're not here", "prove it", "send pic" etc. I wasn't interested anymore at this point but sent a picture of the street sign anyway just to bottom it out to which the reply was "why didn't you confirm ?" When I pointed out she had sent three texts one after the other asking to confirm then cancelling without allowing g any time to respond she just apologised with a "my bad".

Got no tolerance for SPs that have no respect for my time so won't be trying again.

It's a git when you're driving and they ask for confirmation. Even if you see it you have a choice to ignore or stop so that you can reply. Not always easy.
PS she could reply despite being "busy" because someone else is handling her comms.
Hope the next one's better.

Think I’ll text her when I’m within a stone’s throw after your experience. My modus operandi these days anyway.

I used to drive a lot and getting a text asking for booking confirmation whilst doing 60 mph on a clear way or dual carriageway can be annoying if not downright dangerous
