From just £36 per year
That's all to do with children and mainly social media outlets, what's it got to do with us??
age verification checks will need to happen on ukp?
Thread here already in relation to UKP https://www.ukpunting.com/index.php?topic=421259.msg4207350#msg4207350 ... including a contribution from yourself
Ofcom says its "Children's Codes" - the final versions of which have now been published - will offer "transformational new protections".
I think this rule is more aimed at the big porn giants such as pornhub. I think ukp would be overlooked anyway if they dont make changes. I mean its one thing thinking that a 15 year old somewhere is accessing pornhub. What person thinks a 15 year old will attempt to sign up to this site
Maybe a mod may want to merge the two.
Although there is no specific law preventing minors from buying Bitcoin, most cryptocurrency exchanges require users to be 18 or older.
Why do we need to discuss children.
The article said this - "Platforms which host pornography......"which includes this site I assume. UKP may not be a porn official website but it does host similar material including links to third party sites that do have porn, etc.

Most of what you quoted refers to children.Your words.- With us being a review site as long as we avoid posting the sort of private pictures and social media links that some people insist on posting we should be alright.
What about AW.Will we all have to verify our ages?
On that note I notice this with regard to AW. Currently voluntary but presumably compulsory before July.External Link/Members Only
From the thread where all this has been discussed.
