Was working in Dundee yesterday, brand new sim card, never been used

Called a couple numbers on Viva- addresses were one just north of Tannadice and one in DD2 are I never met any of them, I got moved job.

Woke up to threatening txt today- this has happened to me a few times now but only after Iv been in Dundee, I know it happens to people all over the UK but its only ever happened to me once Iv been in Dundee and I work all over and have called WGs all over

It just pains me to think of the stress and turmoil that these texts have no doubt caused some people who are unaware of how common it is and how to deal with them.

To anybody in this situation, just ignore block and delete regardless of what the txt says about what will happen if you block them- they’re the scum of the earth, their desperation is embarrassing.

Maybe post the links or numbers you called to try and arrange a punt so we can all avoid them.

Or perhaps the number you got the threatening text from.

any chance you can post the profile links or the phone numbers of the accounts you contacted which caused this to happen?

Woke up to threatening txt today-

Get a separate punting phone and keep it turned off and airplane when not in use.

There’s apps you can use that generate a different number that don’t use your original sim. Perfect for firing texts etc, saves thw hassle of 2 phones/sims and you can delete the app or number at any time and start again,
