Career 'sue-er' wins 25K from HMRC - cos they sent her a birthday card

Just when you thought this madness couldn't get any worse. A woman, who has made a career out of suing people, using her race and disability as a leveraging tool, has been awarded 25K by the courts cos her employer, the HMRC, sent her a birthday card, and made frequent contact with her whilst she was off on long-term sick due to "stress".

"After winning ten claims of race and disability harassment and discrimination, Ms Toure has now been awarded £25,251.62 in compensation including £20,000 for injury to feelings.

The tribunal in south London heard Ms Toure - who is a French national of African origin and Muslim - started working as a customer service consultant at the Croydon office in October 2019."

That's a lot of diversity privileges ticked off :
- she's a woman
- of colour
- of a certain religion.


I've worked with people like her....the management is usually clueless of how to deal with people like that due to all the rules and regs
 - okay, it's nothing to do with rules and regs, it's a case of not wanting to be called a sexist or a racist. If a white, Christian guy did what she's doing, he'd be laughed out of court.

If a white, Christian guy did what she's doing, he'd be laughed out of court. there are plenty of claims made each week, month and year relating to disability and other discrimination claims. Often by people who are white and male. The religion is not a consideration in this case and I am unsure why it is mentioned apart from being a dogwhistle. Her nationality and colour is an issue in the case.

I'll agree that management are normally clueless. The rules and regs are there because they invariably are clueless and they tell you how to deal with such things.

If you want to get mad at something, its the fact that the managers and other who fuck up in situations like this and others invariably don't get disciplined for their costly errors.
