So, I can’t provide a daily review of my Pattaya trip as I did last year as I made no notes (couldn’t be bothered / having too much fun).  But I’ll provide some highlights:

• Most days, I went to Gent’s clubs in the daytime, and then went to Girl bars or GoGos in the evening to book a long time.  I woke up with a warm body in my bed every morning and all but one didn’t rush away.  (Trin, who I met in Angels on Soi LK, left at about 6 AM).  The morning sex with all the rest was fantastic.

• If you wondered why the Thailand board was so quiet lately, that’s because we had a meet up there.  Sorry if you missed the memo! Met UKP punters S and P twice during the week, and P and A at the end of the week.  Nice to meet you boys!

• I only used Thai Friendly 3 times.  The first two (Fflerkns and Louise068) were ordinary.  Orange8640 was fantastic, but I preferred meeting girls in GCs, bars and Gogos.  TF can be great, but for me this week it was not my choice.  I did mention Orange to punter S.  The jammy bastard booked her twice!  JK, glad you enjoyed her, mate!

• Overall, the costs this year seemed up a bit higher (but still crazy cheap) & it seemed quiet (felt sorry for the dead bars).  Might have been my choice of venues though.

• The DFK was fantastic!  The only 2 who didn’t love it were the first two TF girls.

• I had quite good luck in the top end GoGos this time.  The best was ‘Ae’ from Windmill 2.  11/10 as long as you are OK with almost no tits.  Beautiful like a Korean K-pop Star.  Booked her twice for overnight.  These were 12-14 hour sessions including meal, entertainment and eventually the room.  Expensive for there (8000b) but still barely the price of an hour with an escort in London.  The first time we had so much fun in our evening out that she threw-up in my hotel.  She more than made up for this with 3(!) rounds the next morning. I also enjoyed the seafood restaurants on Walking street on piers out into the Sea.  Great food, great view (and I choose great company).

• I went on the External Link/Members Onlytwice.  The first time was an accident – the tour arrived (MM was stop 3) so I joined for the next 3 bars.  Went over to Jomtien to CatFlaps and CamelToe.  Catflaps such a great club I went back there later with no tour.  I also joined the tour a day later in MM Jomtien but left 3 bars later when we got to Buzz’in near my hotel.  The tour was good – great girls and easy to talk to other punters.  I also spent an afternoon in Club Excite.

• The UKP boys and I discovered the new (to us) area of Bong Koch.  A bit away from the centre, but there are 8 GCs in row. Quite a nice place to hang out in the afternoon.  I BF a girl from there.  Mentioned her to punter P.  He did her short time the next day.  Live reviews working for UKP boys in Patts!

• I stand by my favourite 2 Gogo’s (Kink and Angels) but will add in Dolls (on LK) and Windmill2 (WS).

• I discovered a magnificently sleezy club on Soi 13.1.  No name/sign but just a curtain between 2 girl bars.  So mysterious that I had to go in to see.  It was a hybrid Gogo/GC.  Open all day, and the girls took turns topless dancing.  And their hands were on your dick – and your hands on their tits – 45 secs after you enter.  Fantastic.  They were older and 6-7/10 but so randy.  I had to go with one in the sleezy room upstairs for ST FS.  (I went back later – my receipt called the club ‘be nice’.)

• I drank less than last year.   I ordered Pineapple juice ever other (or every 3) drinks.  This helped my week.

• Will go back next year, 100%.

I then stayed at the Akara for 3 nights and was a third of the price and just as nice
I didn’t have a balcony at the Akara but literally used the one at the Hilton for 2 minutes max
Also the Hilton I had to check my “guest” in and out but didn’t have to at the Akara

i booked an hour - generally i am a one pop guy but she wasn't a clock watcher at all and we were together for somewhere between one and two hours, each time. As she was so good, i gave her 2000 - and didn't try to haggle at all. although you can get some girls for under 2000 in Pattaya, that is, imo, an fair price in Pattaya and i was happy to pay it, especially to someone i thought was lovely and who provided so good a service!

I must thank Steely Dan SD and SouthCoastPunter SCP for the meet ups and advice.  We all ended up staying at hotels on Soi13. For me as a newbie out there I found the location excellent.  Everything you needed was close at hand. Bars, Massage, Food Sportsman Bar, Supermarket, 7-11, motorbike Taxi, Pharmacy, Laundry

Id done a lot of research on the Pattaya-Addicts forum but quickly realised that in Pattaya nothing goes to plan and you need to be flexible, just go with the flow.  As for prices, there is nothing set in stone and it changes with the seasons, whether shes keen on you, if she thinks your a newbie and she can bleed you for more, and a lot more variables.

Good to meet AffAlchemist with SD near the end of my trip and hear his experiences also.

I agree with you - they are not as good as they used to be. but they are good to have a drink and chat with and/or play cards with etc and the place is very guest friendly so no problem bring out girls back there. However that new and large go-go bar that has just opened nearly opposite them (where they had the fire) is very noisy at night (until about 3 am ) whereas it used to be quiet! I like hotel where you can sleep if you want to!

I last went 15 years ago.
Sounds like i need to budget at least £250 per day entertainment fund to have a great time.
Ie short time in the afternoon, long time in the evening.  Ideally with young cute spinners.

I can tell you it’s not easy being SD’s wingman - meant in a nice and very respectful way, he is a machine! From my limited experience of GC’s I would say 400 for a for a ST room is normal plus what is agreed with the lady - from about 800 for a blow job to 1500 for everything! Some really hot ladies might be more! But what I liked about most GC’s is the more informal relaxed atmosphere where you can just play pool if you like! Of course ladies will be trying to get a drink from you but the price isn’t too bad ( usually under 200!

December is a busy time so prices could be a bit more expensive. I went to a gogo bar on my last visit in September when it was very quiet. I paid 1200 bar fine and 3000 for girl st, she wanted 4000 at first but I knocked her down and she was good. I usually go to bars and bfs varied from 500 to 1000 and girls varied from 1500 to 2000 st. Some bars you had to buy 5 drinks for girl before bf and I usually stayed away from these places. Every bar is different and best to get price sorted first. I usually ask after first drink and then decide whether to stay or move on.

I forget prices a lot.  I listen, decide if it is a 'yes' then pay and move on with the fun.  I think though Kink was bf 1500 and LT for the girl 5000.  Heaven above about the same.  Walking Street GoGo maybe 1000 more. Might be 8000 if early - price goes down as it gets later.  Because you are buying them out of more when you book early.  But you get more time with the girl early.  None of this matters - what is £25 either way?  The only cost is ending up with a starfish for 12 hours when you wanted a fuck-bunny.  Hence why I repeated the good ones last week.  I had 8 overnights and all but one were excellent.

I would really not stay near Soi 6.  It is too far from LK Metro and WS.  Unless you are certain that Soi 6 is your main destination.  It is for some, but not at all for me. If you like nice digs, then I can recommend Hotel Terra Nara on Soi4. I would say it's 4.5⭐, but priced very well in comparison to its peers.

Soi4 is quiet if you want a good night's sleep. The location is also very central, and the hotel offers a free shuttle bus to take you to places in and around Central Pattaya.

Opposite Terra Nara is the Hotel Vista, which is 4⭐. The best thing with Vista is that they offer a free elevenses between 13-16 daily. You get unlimited free barista coffee, snacks (think hors d'oeuvres), cakes and juices.

Personally I take bikes to where I want to go via Bolt app (never use the guys on the corners with orange vests), costs 30B + optional tip per journey to pretty much anywhere of interest.

If you are focusing purely on punting, Hotel Acqua in my opinion is the best located Hotel in Pattaya, proximity to places of interest is fantastic. The massive negative from Acqua however is that the rooms are comically small for a 4⭐. For a longer stay, I found it rather limiting.

The Areca Lodge is also a very popular Hotel amongst the punting community, again due to it's location and quality, however I have not personally stayed there, so cannot speak from experience. I did however get a room tour when I was in Patts last summer, and would happily book for a future trip.

Really appreciate this mate, a friend of mine stayed at areca last year and spoke highly of it to but its fully booked for the dates I'm going, testament to its popularity and I've been looking since last month.

I shall definitely download Bolt, I like the idea of flying around on a moped, a better way to see the area imo. I was scouring through the gents club website last night, very enlightening some great info.
