Author Topic: Adultwork Credits - how to buy anonymously?  (Read 7724 times)

I want to buy some Adultwork credits.  I obviously want to shield my identity so I don't want to buy them with a normal debit or credit card. I trust AW to keep my data safe /sarc.

There's about eight ways to pay on the site.  Several of them non-anonymous.

I tried to buy a Neosurf Voucher (which the website showed me various cash locations near my gaff). I chose corner shops I don't normally frequent but neither knew anything about them.

Cash to Code (whatever that is) didn't work.

Pay by Mobile told me my punting phone was unregistered with AW so I couldn't.

I'm at a bit of a loss.  Perhaps someone can assist me?

The Paypoint terminals have the vouchers on. The operators just need to look for them in their menus.

Pay by mobile was easy enough to set up, you just get send a code by text messsge to confirm your number.

Thanks for your replies.  I shall try again with Paypoint/Neosurf.

@RandomGuy:  10 AW Credits cost £12.10 which seemed an odd sum. Do you know if these Neosurf vouchers can be any sum of money, as opposed to phone vouchers which are usually in increments of £10?

I don't know. I usually just buy a £20 one and use to pay for reverse bookings ads.

OK, I'll give that a go and report back.

I bought a Neosurf voucher and I think they're now only availaible in multiples of ten quid. But then AW stick a fee on for buying credits with it (typical of them) so you'll end up wasting the difference between the cost of the credits with the handling fee and the value of the voucher.

Any shop with a paypoint, has Neosurf, as for what you now pay for AW credits, looks like AW adding a service fee.  So buy AW 20 credits with MasterCard, will now cost you £22

I've had a lot of luck buying Neosurf vouchers from the Co-Op. You'll sometimes get an assistant who has never heard of them, but they just need to check the menu. Most of the corner shops I tried weren't capable of a conversation, let alone checking the menu...

I bought a £20 Neosurf recently. Quite a pain to find stockists but check Neosurf website and show them the website on your phone and they need to locate it under PayPoint. Need to pay with cash.
Problem is now AW service fees. So £20 credits costs £24.20. Not sure if you can buy a Neosurf voucher for this exact amount.
So means that you buy £5 and £10 credits separately which then leaves you with a couple of £s not able to be used.
Another option is to open a Neosurf account which lets you top up with bank transfer and then you anonymously can pay AW to buy credits although with the still relatively high service charge.

It used to be a breeze to get PaySafe coupons but my credits are running low again and none of my local newsagents seem capable of finding NeoSurf on their PayPoint machines  :dash:

Don’t suppose any of you recall which menu on those PayPoint terminals that NeoSurf was found under? So at least I can point them in the right direction next time…

I used to do neosurf but then it seemed to stop working, I now use Roxy voucher option, you just need a bank / cc and it goes through as anonymous payment straight onto your aw account, no codes needed

I think it is E-Money, digital & Cash Out, then a submenu for E-money or digital vouchers or something like that.

Cheers :drinks:

Hopefully I’ll now be able to direct one of those newsagents in the right direction!

It says when purchasing credits that it'll show on your account as "AWS" - but for me it shows as "AW Live" with the logo  :dash:

Are they? Vanilla gift cards were discontinued ages ago and I thought they were the last ones. What prepaid cards still exist.

Managed to get Neosurf whilst filling up at petrol station but annoyingly the current AW exchange rate means 40 credits cost just over £50, so I missed out of those Freeviews :dash:

Hmmm, got a Neosurf voucher but their website won’t let me log-in today as keeps saying “invalid credentials” even though I’ve logged out and re-logged in to get the Captcha then reset my password for good measure.

Decided to give the mobile app a try and managed to add the voucher to my account that way but when I attempt to use my account spend code to purchase credits on AW it says I must be logged in to be able to do so… but I still cannot log into website via any browser and pop up says to “try again later”  :dash:

Open revolout account. You get disposable virtual cards. Use any name for it.
Only transfer cash when you need to.
Can be used for most dirty sites

Cheers for the suggestion

Neosurf are requesting that I upgrade to a premium account and provide them with documentation to confirm my identification but having read countless reports of their incompetence I most certainly won’t be trusting them with my info and shall be funding my AW credits by other means!

Check your own bank app, if you have one,as  your bank  may also have virtual bank cards, like RBS

It's not the easiest method, but you can use bitcoin to purchase credits.

If you have a revolut account bitcoin is pretty easy to purchase
