I sent this girl a message towards the end of last week, she replied to my initial text via WhatsApp which at the time I thought was strange because she would have had to save my number to her contacts, give me a name then send me a WhatsApp. Anyway we finished our conversation via WhatsApp with me not committing to a time that day and left it that I might try the next day.

So this morning I get a threatening WhatsApp suggesting Sergei and his mates are waiting at the corner of my street and if I dont pay £500 immediately they are going to work me and my family over badly. The only thing was I could still see this lasses profile picture at the top of the screen.

I told her to fuck off and Im still waiting for Sergei and his mates to show their faces.

Might be worth avoiding her if you dont want the hassle, my main reason for not booking was her WhatsApp profile pic wasnt as good as the VS ones.

Looking again at the WhatsApp message on my phone its the same number she is still using in her VS add 07877 914765.

These birds really must think we are thick as they are.

I had a similar scenario with a set up in Huddersfield...... apparently if i didnt pay then it would end badly for me?

Told them i would be at xxx at a certain time, i sat in a bar opposite with a couple of buddies of mine to see if anyone turned up but if they did they were not obvious

I'm a bit naïve when it comes to some smart phone tech/apps etc, but how could they know where you live based on a whatsapp connection?

Just from WhatsApp they likely couldn't. They could possibly find your Facebook or Snapchat from your number. And if you've checked into your home on Foursquare and tagged it on Facebook, or left your Snapchat location open then they possibly could find your address. Or if they're really clever they could send a link that discloses your location if you click it.

Really unlikely that they would do that though, even if it may be technically possible. If they actually have your address it's more likely that they would have done it by taking the address from you for an outcall. But realistically, they're probably just counting on you being scared and not thinking it through logically. Seems like they've backed down already in this case once they know he wasn't scared.
