Seen this one the other day, tried aw for days trying to get a booking, most of them don't even reply.  Becoming a nightmare these days.

As I have said on here before, taking a car punting is a dangerous practice, better using Public transport.

Wouldn’t say so. I’d say more risk attached to explaining why/where you’re going on public transport if you don’t usually use it. Obviously if driving you don’t want parking tickets and don’t want to park bang outside a SP’s address. Plus you’ll be away or out for longer if using buses etc.

I suppose there's arguments for both. It's hard enough getting a booking these days, the hassle of planning a journey getting there for a certain time via public transport wouldn't help matters. I also find the car handy to leave valuables in.
