Well I've given up logging fake profiles today, after discovering at least 60.
30 or 40 of those are repeat offenders.
The first 2 pages (searching only profiles with private galleries and by registered date) is full of fake accounts. If I did a search of profiles without PG's as well, I'm sure there would be over 100 and probably 3 or 4 pages worth.
Some of the fake profiles created over 2 days ago still haven't been removed. It seems the norm now to have to report them at least twice before AW will action the fake reports.
If I owned AW, I'd be deeply embarrassed at how the scammers have so easily taken over. Surely they can make a healthy and legitimate profit without turning a blind eye to all the scamming that's going on?
It's going to bite them on the bum one day if they don't so something about it soon. Still, any fines imposed for fraudulent activity can be paid off from the profits they've made
AW just cannot be trusted anymore. What was once a great search engine for seeking WG's, has now become a farce.
I feel sorry for the genuine contributors of that site who are just getting buried in among all the fake accounts.
