To start the booking I had to go to their "office". Well explained on their website, I went there, got stopped by a few touts, including one in front who saw I was heading to the building and said "well have a great time brother". So for discretion... yeah, hardly. Thankfully I was on the opposite end of the globe on a business trip, but I still had a small part of my brain thinking "what if I get super unlucky and someone I know sees me". Anyway
Getting to the "office", they check my booking, I pay (in cash) and they ask me to take a seat in a waiting room with 3 other punters (wow). 2 of them were in a separate area so you couldn't really see their face, but the other was sitting in the main area. Again, discretion points are at an all-time low. But from my interactions in Japan, escorting looks like a fairly "accepted" hobby where there is a bit less of a taboo than we have here, so I thought when in Rome...
