Doc, I have a lot of respect for your postings. Can I just say in my case having weened myself off ED tablets, I see my girlfriend not more than once a week usually as she lives a distance away. I found that by not wanking, I stayed a lot hornier and that gave me the confidence I would still be able to get an erection. Until I met my present partner I had more or less accepted I had got to the age where I had to take Viagra and took it for several years. Since meeting her, I haven't taken it for over a year. I know she wouldn't judge me if I couldn't get hard but I am sure the lack of wanking has helped in that I'm desperate to cum when we get together.
Yes I recall reading your previous posts about your relationship. It’s great that has worked out for you.

I seem to recall, like myself, you were no spring chicken

so the first thing I would say is that if you are now able to have satisfactory erections in this relationship and without pharmaceutical assistance, then you do not have (or have had) any significant degree of erectile dysfunction caused by vascular or neurological factors.
I have highlighted a couple of key sections in your post. Clearly in this new relationship your head is in a ‘happy place’ and your confidence is high. You are not concerned at her reaction should you fail to get an erection, so you are relaxed and have very little performance anxiety. You are comfortable in the relationship.
Your libido in terms your sexual desire for her is likely to be high (probably reciprocated) and this is also in your favour. I note also from a previous post you have lost some weight which is a positive.
Over the years I have read many posts from punters saying that they use ED meds, but never seem to need them with
'the missus'
Which brings me to masturbation and frequency of sex. This relates more to the refractory period I mentioned in my other post. This is normal physiological process with great variability but always getting longer with age. It is not erectile dysfunction.
External Link/Members OnlyBy adjusting your frequency of sexual activity as you get older, you are maximising recovery times and libido.
All that said, if you feel that reducing masturbation has resulted in you being confident then that is all that matters. Me telling you that masturbation does not cause ED is irrelevant

Best wishes
