Everyone be careful when visiting escorts on lower cathedral road in Cardiff. I have just got back from what I can only describe and a nerve racking experience.

I will not name the escort but I had just got inside there apartment, exchanged funds for there time, sat down and heard the buzzer go and banging on the front door to the apartment block.

The escort got up, checked her cameras and it was the police doing searches as this place is a known for these kinds of services.

The escort tried to calm me down as I was panicking because she had substances in the apartment and the police would not leave and kept still kept banging the door after 10 minutes.

I told the escort that I was going, much to her frustration and I left, I opened the front door to the premise to be met by 5 police officers doing searches.

The asked why I was in the property and which apartment I had came from, searched me, then an officer escorted me to my car to check my ID.

Then I was on my way. This was quite the eye opener and has certainly put me off this sort of things for a long time.

Not sure how you all feel or have had a similar experience, but just thought I would share.

I am still shaken up from this and not really sure what to do, I just hope nothing comes of it.

You should probably leave a review.

What reason did they give, and did their warrant include your car?
A single escort in a flat is unlikely to be raided unless there are other offences to be considered. I could see you being searched in the street if they suspected another offence. Did they ask you to take a drugs wipe?

I assume you took note of their shoulder numbers, IDs and the detail in the warrant.
This sounds a bit like fantasy. I know it's near Halloween

Maybe you should write some reviews, your posts talk a lot about booking various SPs

Why not name her, and this is what this forum is about, where you share good or bad info on an escort.

I believe you should name her, so we can all avoid her, as she sound rather dodgy, and by what you have said, drugs in her apartment

Is there a reason why you haven’t reviewed anyone since joining, not just this girl ?

I think you'd best view this alongside the Ginger Massage raid and assume the local bobbies have a campaign running.

Was the girl at this place chinese by any chance?

Offline clevertrevor

It's usually a Thai haunt but I'm sure there was a Chinese girl working in the top flat

May I ask where you parked OP.

Lower Cathedral Road is Residents Only Parking, as are the other streets in that area.  You could have parked about 1/2 mile away in a Pay & Display if you were lucky enough to find a space, or a multi story which would have been a longer walk.

Just can't see the police marching you that distance to find some ID that substantiated your claim to be Peter Punter from Pontypridd.

I park on the road. Plenty of places to park which are not residential only.

I saw that fat Brazilian there the other day so not just thais.

Going g back to the police.. if this happened.. the police stop answering speak to you and ask your relationship to the property. Stop and account  but you are not legally required to provide name and details unless police can establish a clear legal reason.
But if they know it's a knocking shop this might give them the legal reason.

It does worry me a bit. Especially hearing about Gingers being raided. But it's not gonna stop me

Perhaps the cops are investigating trafficing?  The punter shouldn't need to be worried unless the girl is underage.

Offline rockgod21

Worrying times in Cardiff then. We've had the business with Portfolio having problems with running incall locations. Gingers being raided and now this. All points towards some kind of enforcement crackdown to me.

Stop and account is simply used as a legal opener to engage with someone, even if they're visibly doing nothing illegal. If you appear evasive during the stop and account, or they are of the opinion you have what can be described as an attitude, they can reasonably suspect you may be hiding something. That is when they accelerate the interaction to a stop and search. And they will be completely in their right to do so. Your average citizen in the USA has more rights than we do.  By all means you can protest and complain, they'll just invite you to the station to have a one to one sit down with the officer a few weeks later. In this scenario that would be pretty awkward conversation to have, and it won't change anything.

Not only are you wrong with what you are saying but it's been nearly 5 years since you posted a review, is there a reason for that?

You do not have to stop and talk to the police and they can only search you if they have reasonable grounds to suspect they might find something and they must tell you what they think they might find.

Illegal stop and searches mean a civil claim and compensation. The search record must indicate the grounds for their suspicions.

Stop and question: police powers
A police officer might stop you and ask:

what your name is
what you’re doing in the area
where you’re going
You do not have to stop or answer any questions. If you do not and there’s no other reason to suspect you, then this alone cannot be used as a reason to search or arrest you.
Stop and search: police powers
A police officer has powers to stop and search you if they have ‘reasonable grounds’ to suspect you’re carrying:

illegal drugs
a weapon
stolen property
something which could be used to commit a crime, such as a crowbar
You can only be stopped and searched without reasonable grounds if it has been approved by a senior police officer. This can happen if it’s suspected that:

serious violence could take place
you’re carrying a weapon or have used one
you’re in a specific location or area
Before you’re searched
Before you’re searched the police officer must tell you:

their name and police station
what they expect to find, for example drugs
the reason they want to search you, for example if it looks like you’re hiding something
why they’re legally allowed to search you
that you can have a record of the search and if this is not possible at the time, how you can get a copy

But if they know it's a knocking shop this might give them the legal reason.

It wouldn't. They are after traffickers and pimps. Punters are not worth their time. In fact if the escort is advertising the cost as just being for their time, it's not even illegal.
