I haven't been there for a while, but regarding Scutty's Companies House info, the Directorship changed in early 2023, which would seem to fit with new people taking it over. It has continued to operate until recently, certainly after the company was officially dissolved in January 2024 by voluntary strike off. (All info disclosed here is public on Companies House website.) There's some link with a place in Neath Road Swansea, from what I've been told in Gingers. Maybe through a different company?

Does anyone have updates on this?
I can see that girls that have been there are at the flat but I much prefer the shop.
I had text it a few times over the last week with no responses and I get on with the guy that sits at the front quite well so was surprised to not get replies.

They have still been updating the viva page as it's not falling back in the list. I don't imagine it's the guy in the shop keeping it updated but you would imagine the person updating it would have been told to stop if this was closing up.

They had about 4 numbers, all of them disconnected and no answer at the shop.
Keep an eye out for the next place, it was refreshing having sometimes attractive masseuses unlike some of the other places having a 50+ pull it like it's detachable.

When I have asked girls there, if they had reasonable English, about how long been in this country, just as part of general convo, several have said they are on five year work visas. I don't know how specific the views are, whether limited to "traditional Chinese massage" or similar. As long as they haven't overstayed, or working on a student visa, I presume they would pass immigration checks.

Virtually impossible as "massage" isn't one of the key shortage skills needed by the NHS.
They'd have to come in under some other category - or use faked Hong Kong paperwork

From what I know, these girls are all in debt in china. They come here to work to pay off the debt.thay must have a tourist visa seeing as they have to return to china every 6 months I think.
They are not allowed to leave the premises under their contract unless supervised by the bosses.
It's a shady area wether they are trafficked seeing as they appear to come to work on there own accord and many return after the trip back home

You're misunderstanding the word "trafficked" - it has a much wider sense than you are thinking of.
But yes, the girls are almost certainly working illegally

Hmm. I've never been to the Swansea one but I understand some of the girls work in both. Maybe Gingers was making itself too obvious and generated complaints from neighbours. I could but, as I live an hour's drive away and am only an infrequent visitor, I thought I would ask on here first as someone more local might have first-hand knowledge, including whether "normal" service has been resumed or only a more limited menu is available.  Presumably, if trafficking has been involved, we'll hear about a court case in due course.

You may not.
It's becoming clear that a lot of trafficking cases / trials never get reported on publicly.
I'm unclear whether they hold the cases in camera or whether they simply deport rather than prosecute.
