Hello world of UKP! This is my first post up after not punting in over 6 years due to being tied in a marriage!  I am now free to punt again!

Last time I did was late 2016 September / October time and I saw a girl with a large tattoo of a owl on her side - cannot remember her username / name she went by... Six years is a long time in the punting game and especially as pre Covid. I look back and any regulars I had back then have all retired/ moved on. Covid created a punting wasteland certainly for those looking for over 40s, since filled by younger Eastern Europeans, not to my taste.

Not sure if this is the place to ask but I've been curious for a while about it - roughly what percentage of members actually post reviews?

I see so many comments like the one you've replied to where someone is saying he's banging escorts left right and centre and you look at their profiles and there's zero reviews. They usually (quite rightly) get called out by the mods for not writing up these experiences.

Is it just a fraction of us doing the reviewing ?

yes - not sure how big or small that fraction is but its a fraction of course. but does it matter whether its 10% or 80%. we do it to share our experience in the hope that others will do likewise. Its never going to be 100%. All we can do is "do our bit"!!

From the review stats page 18,979 reviews were posted in the 12 months December 2023 to November 2024. Membership is currently 145k and was around 130k at the start of that period.

Members will have posted more than one review, some significantly more. It seems the vast majority (probably 90% plus) haven't posted a review in the last 12 months.

Probably the same as many forums, 10% contributing and 90% inactive/taking.

It is a curious fact that in any field a small minority are active. I can't recall his name (senility rules) but this was discovered by an Italian around 1860. The one startling figure I recall is that 80% of gin is drunk by 2% of drinkers. 

This is the kind of utterly useless but occasionally entertaining information I've picked up over the last 70 years of scribbling.
