although not a frequent reviewer, after a dozen or so punts in the last year I’m thinking of retiring as hobby does nothing for the mental health. Every time a small rash appears or a bit of a cold comes on I’m immediately ordering a home testing kit and writing myself off. Always an all clear but the panic outweighs the benefits in my book

So you are telling us you are a hypochondriac.  :D

I get it, the hobby can be stressful with constant health worries. If the panic outweighs the benefits, it might be time to prioritise your mental health. Take care of yourself

Agreed. Watching yer health , the occasional concern and getting tested are part of the hobby :hi:

Home testing kits for a cold and small rashes? What are you testing yourself with?

The only stress I have with punting is getting time to punt these days - life is taking over a bit, or getting parking near enough the SP's base.

I cant think of any time an SP has given me a cold, or anything.

Maybe its the type of girls you are seeing that would give you cause for concern, hard to tell because of the reason in bold

If it’s that on your mind maybe just stick to the Rub and Tug or covered oral?

No much risk in that?

The risk of STDs is vastly overstated, unless you're a risk-taking idiot.

I've now had well over 500 encounters in my punting life. STDs = 0.

Yep. And if you are single even most STDs are not that big a deal. Of course if you are not then the major risk is giving one to the OH.  :scare: :D

In almost 30 years of punting I have only had an STD once and it was a civvie hook up in a club!

The hard part is arranging a booking for a time that suits. Could send loads of messages on aw and get no replies

Just take a bit of time out, get your head sorted then see how you feel

Punting is meant to be fun at the end of the day, you don't have to do it.

Maybe you've just punted too much over the last year, from reading what you've said. Just do it in moderation if need be.

Again that's up to you. If it's not for you, or doing anything for you and the cons outweigh the pros then you'll probably know the answer  :hi:

After months of deliberation, that’s me done for good; the stress levels have risen to crazy levels again. I had OWO only last week with a well reviewed SP and I didn’t like the feel of the meet or her teeth. Mental, I know, but that plays on my mind  so with that. It’s good night from me. It’s clearly not something I can enjoy anymore. Happy Christmas one and all

or her teeth

If it felt toothy did you not think of maybe saying that at the time, or asking her to stop?

Communication  :unknown:

sounds like more of a mental roadblock that is stopping you rather than physical

I’ve no doubt it's mental over physical. I’ve never been one for catastrophising but it’s time to call it a day if this is how I’m feeling

Aye, I really don't think punting is for you.

If punting is causing you more stress than joy, perhaps it's time for a hobby makeover! Why not try yoga? It's low-risk, no health worries and no need to worry about someone else's teeth!. Sometimes, a little change can be the best stress reliever.

Agree 💯 I’m joining a gym in January to relieve stress, build a routine, and set the tone for the new year. No need to have an irrational fear about catching something beyond sinister from dodgy dental work

I had OWO only last week

Surely keep it to OW if you’re prone to concern?

On any occasions I indulge in extras it’d generally be OW. I’ve no interest in seeking kissing/DFK/OWO/RO with a SP. For me, I still get a bit of enjoyable time out/stress relief. In a roundabout way I’d say more enjoyment from keeping it low risk, reducing worries.

Seeing SP’s that don’t do uncovered services is another option too. These girls are most likely thinking the same way (ok with what they do but happier going along keeping it as safe as possible, taking away some worry for themselves I imagine).

However, Yoga sounds ok. I can see myself at the back admiring the yoga pant view, deciding which ones I’d like to downward dog
