What's confusing? the punter wanted his money back and beat the pimp up to get it?    :unknown:

It’s one of the reasons I no longer drink six bottles of Corona beer and half bottles of brandy.
It slows me down when I am chasing pimps. 😂

Never before have I had occasion to read the Leicester Mercury, and furthermore I doubt I ever shall again. However even I, a complete novice in this regard, managed to fully understand the events that had taken place. I therefore suspect, on the balance of probability that, only the OP is confused  :unknown:

Sorry Captain, you're on your own here I think.
Normally I'm not too upset if I hear about a Sergei getting his comeuppance, but this punter sounds like scum.

The defendant told police the female approached him and said, 'Do you want sex'. He said no several times and that he would never pay for sex as he had a nice girlfriend  :sarcastic:

So let me get this right. The homeless guy was the pimp? I'm not too sure if this is an insult to homeless people or to pimps.

Seems pretty straightforward to me.
Drunken man is approached by prostitute and is persuaded to engage her services so hands over £40. He then remembers his "nice girlfriend", regrets the decision and tries to get his money back. Prossie said no, he becomes aggressive so she screams for help and runs, at which point her "boyfriend" leaps into action and a fight ensues, which he loses. Either a member of the public or an alert CCTV operator, calls the Police, who arrive in time to nick the perpetrator.
As always, there are two sides to any story, and the truth will lie somewhere in between.
The assailants g/f has IMO had a lucky escape and needs to ditch him ASAP if this is what he gets up to with women when pissed.
