I've seen this girl quite a few times and have always had a good time. She's not offering duos any more (which was my best memory of her) but I've had a few good solo meets. She genuinely has another job, which she's happy to talk about, so it's not surprising that this sometimes gets in the way. However, this time I arranged a meet a few days in advance only for her to contact me on the morning saying that her landlord had called unexpectedly. If she had just cried off I wouldn't have posted this, but using that old chestnut of an excuse feels like taking the piss. She's really worth seeing if you can arrange it, but I'm not sure I'll try again. Make sure you have a plan B - luckily I managed to find one very successfully (review to follow)

I have a problem when SP’s pick up a negative review because of cancellations of this sort.

rchab already says he has seen her several times and always enjoyed it. Otherwise why would he be going back. !!!

So now she cancels on the morning of the booking and he rates that a negative.

I’m thinking it’s more of a polite thing to do rather than look at it as a bad thing. Better than travelling all the way to see someone and THEN she makes an excuse up just as you arrive.
How does he know the landlord has NOT called round. 🤷🏼

Legally landlords are meant to give at least 24hours notice before a visit, although it may depend on the relationship the tenant has with their landlord. It really is a shit excuse to use the 'spur of the moment' visit.

does it matter what the "reason" is? - maybe she wasn't feeling great or just "not in the mood" but didn't want to say that so made up an excuse. surely its about the amount of notice given. if its a few hours then surely that is more acceptable than radio silence at the time etc

Point taken - maybe my negative review was a bit harsh. I’ve been lucky that I’ve hardly ever been ghosted on the day, but I have had the landlord excuse quite a few times from different girls.
