The abolitionists rear their ugly head again, this time in the shape of Ash Regan the Alba MSP who clearly has too much time on her hands.
Her bill would criminalise punters. Women who provide sex for money, she says, do so to alleviate poverty and extreme financial hardship.
My main question to her, although there are many, would be to ask how depriving women in extreme financial hardship of their income would improve their situation.
Given that the ‘Swedish model’ is now law in Northern Ireland, where the law is ignored, I suspect Ms Regan is virtue signalling to the feminist lobby.
