Author Topic: Threats received after making escort enquiries  (Read 24044 times)

Offline YourLocalGP

Having received a couple of these myself this year via text and phone calls it seems like it’s pretty widespread across the UK and not just in NI, having done a quick search in here for ‘threat’.  Scenario goes like: You contact an escort, seems to be VS ads that lead to this, and then hours or days after you receive a threatening text or phone call from someone with an Eastern European accent.  The content of the text or phone call usually states something like “Hey, I’m the guy who looks after the Escort you contacted from VS.  You’ve messed her about/wasted her time so now you gotta pay.  If you don’t pay £500 now then I’ll come round to see you with my boys when it will then be £1000.  I have all your details, and don’t waste time your time contacting the police.  You really don’t want to have to deal with my boys “ and so on.  Both times I’ve just said “I am not laying anyone any money just for asking about an escort service as in costs and location, so forget it”.  Then block the number.   On the last occurrence they persisted calling, calls came through as no caller id, not sure if that was done by putting 141 in front of my number and them using their same phone, or just another phone.  Anyway, after about 20 calls I just rejected they eventually gave up.

So these are either Pimps just trying it on once they get your numbers from the girls, or they’re not even pimps and are just fake adverts.  I seriously doubt there is any reality behind the threats, but who knows.  Maybe I’ll get a knock at the door one night.

Anyway, we need to fight back and give these cunts some shit back.  Using their numbers they’re contacting us on, apart from reporting to Police or Crimestoppers anonymously, what stuff could we say sign their phone number up to that doesn’t require them to ‘confirm/accept’ so that they get swamped with marketing shit and adverts and such like?  Keep em busy or needing to change their Sims.

Would it be worth us having a pinned thread of all the Phone Numbers being used to issue the threats?

I think going forwards tho I will not be using VS much, unless the girl is well reviewed on here or other signs she is genuine/known to us.  Not sure how I’ll come to that conclusion.  Shame though as there will be loads of genuine amazing escorts on VS and these cunts are ruining it for them as well as for us.

Wonder how many of us in here have experienced this?  Drop a reply in if you have.

Or just block them and get on with your life. Life is too short.

Surely it is a negative review against the VS girl to make others aware of their threatening behaviour .  Eventually putting her out of business or at least her income stream declines
Banned reason: No response to comment about lack of recent reviews.

Yep, difficult if made a couple of enquiries though and not knowing which led to the scumbag texts/calls.

Happy for you to send me their number, I'm on for timewasting scammers.
Banned reason: Habitual troll type posts after assuring that sort of thing would stop.

They're not real escort profiles. You measage them and the first question you get back is "which town are you in?" yet the profile lists incalls. You don't bother replying as it's clear they're not doing incalls and then you'll get the threat message back. I think the profiles are setup in the hope that someone actually falls for their BS and sends them money. I doubt they get much success.

Although associated with VS I am aware of some who only contacted AW advertisers receiving the same texts.

Most phones have a block unknown numbers feature, so if no caller id then it will auto block

Probably best not to leave it on full time, but only when dealing with these dickheads.
GP surgeries and doctor telephone consultations can be from an unknown number.

This is why I only see established ladies or well reviewed parlours these days. So many scammers out there

Why do we ned a new thread every time someone gets one of these scam txts?  :unknown:

There's one here - https://www.ukpunting.com/index.php?topic=410136.0 - last posted on yesterday and in that there's links to another 2 and there's loads more if you just look for them. Is it not better to keep all the information on one thread instead of spread all over the site?  :unknown:

This threatening message looks a bit criminal to me. Perhaps these messages should be reported to the police?

Forward it to 7726 but unfortunately very few bother to report anything, I've lost count of the number of threads like this and ones where trafficking is suspected.

I’ve just this minute had one told him to fuck off and I’m bringing my boys down to town now lol

Online Atrueyorkie

I really wonder who actually gives them money.

A simple fuck off message followed by a block. Funny how the message almost pleads to not block

I’m thinking it maybe the wg’s who are behind it if they have enquiries that don’t turn into bookings they try their luck

It's just a scam. I texted one number and the first response was "what town are you in?", so I didn't continue contact. The next day I get a threatening message demanding money.  I blocked them. They're just trying to scare people into giving them money. There are no real SPs associated with these numbers.

No, it's profiles you contact that never answer

That's usually the lead-in to a deposit scam, not a threat

Not with these guys. I never get to even trying to book as they supposedly offer incalls, but then ask you which town you're in as their first message back to you. I stop sending messages immediately and then a threat will arrive day later.

I’ve pondered this too.

Obviously the reason these scams exist is because they catch a few who fall for it. 🤷🏼

True. I feel sorry for them, it’s probably old people or not tech savvy ones that would get absolutely rinsed

If I had got such a message in my early days punting I would have crapped myself. Thankfully, the information and experience of others on UKP means that I now know better if it ever happens. I suspect that it is nervous newbies (like I was) who are most likely to pay up.

Offline dieseldriver

If you use a 'burner phone ' how will they trace you? Not registered with any network so how are they able to send the boys to you? Do what I do. Always use it when calling the girls. Also withhold number when calling them. Then call them and when answer give them shit. Like blowing a whistle when answer....  :D

Offline dubs

How are the scammers getting hold of the clients numbers?  Are they pimping the girls and controlling the phones, or the girls passing numbers to the scammers?

The girls don't exist. They're fake profiles that only exist to rope in victims

Online Punterperson1971

Had another one today this time his name is Adonis and he’s going to cut my hand off, well I won’t be able to scratch my bottom or pick my nose if that’s the case and I sent him back a text saying that name sounds a bit gay why did your mom call you that did they hate you  😂😂😂

These scams are a big business in some countries and quite elaborate.

The recent fighting between Cambodia and Thailand led to Thai troops capturing a scam operation complex which included fake police station set ups  for Brazil, Australia and China to be used as video call backdrops.

Definitely should be reported - you just forward the scam message for free to 7726 (which spells "SPAM" on a keypad).

This alerts mobile providers to block the sender. Also, report phishing scams to the National Cyber Security Centre by emailing [email protected] and deleting the message.

I may message Boyd at some point from my punting phone and state that he’s been harassing a punter and wasting his time making lose money and to send me £900.

I had a polish SW message me one day saying "How dare you leave me a negative review on UKpunting and her other friend who works out of the same flat"

Well you shouldn't have been shit and how stupid is it to make a guy wear a condom during hand relief.

Just blocked her number

Is there any punter who hasn't received one of these threatening messages/phone calls from "Sergei" by now?  :unknown:

I feel left out as I’ve not had one. Having said that, it seems to occur with eastern Euros on Beaver street and I avoid those.

Online Kingfisher69

I had someone asking for money but it wasn't a threat. I had a text telling me the WG had died and the guy who contacted me was her boyfriend and he was asking for money to help bury her. He'd even gone to the trouble of setting up one of those fund me accounts. I always use a burner phone with a giffgaff sim, but since then I block every number I contact and unblock them only when I want to contact them again. I find this stops all follow-up nonsense.

That's certainly a new one but the threatening messages/phone calls rarely come from the number you first contact.

Quite possibly genuine

I actually haven't, but then I use a punting phone which stays off unless I am actually going to a punt or messaging a girl.

so if they send me a message when it is off, I think it goes iunto a holding pattern for 24 or something and then if the phone isn't turned on, just fails to send

I've had a couple of these and could easily identify the SPs involved, what's hilarious is getting big Daves bank details and then telling him I'm going to use them to steal his money.
