Author Topic: Serviced apartments, request for help from the SPs  (Read 1073 times)

I need to work away for a few weeks and fancy the serviced apartments that I've been to on punts.

After many fruitless internet searches I haven't found a decent site. They are dominated by big companies such as airbnb which only do short term holiday lets.

I'm hoping someone on here can give me some advice.

Where do you need to go it's a big old country.

I mostly use booking. Com initially,  I put in an area and dates and then search, I then filter the search to apartments and parking using the tick boxes,  filter is top central, I then sort lowest to highest in cost.

Scroll and click on an apartment scroll down and just under the description  you should see managed by now that will either be by a private host or have a company name, the ones use in Chester are managed by Guestz Oxford by Platinum pillows etc

Take that name and pop it into Google with the location or the apartment block name if that's given on B.com and search, you should be able to find the company and bypass B.com, you can then call them and discuss a longer term let.

If you're in London, there are chains such as Citadines, and I believe Staybridge Suites (part of the Holiday Inn empire) are starting to branch out now. Whenever I've seen an SP on tour it's usually at a Premier Inn she's rented.
