Messaged her this afternoon as I had been working in Cosham this morning and traffic into Portsmouth was absolutely carnage due to a motorway closure. I don't drive due to eyesight and couldn't get a taxi for love nor money.

Did the polite thing and tried to phone - no reply. Sent a text apologising and no reply. Originally set the booking up via text. Something makes me think I dodged a bullet

Total nightmare. Phone almost never answered, texts and e-mails rarely replied to. Much perseverance is needed!

Perhaps this was, as Bangman suggests, to do with the England football match. Or perhaps, unlike in the football (writing in the 62nd minute of the game), someone has scored.
