Author Topic: LMB - Great receptionist  (Read 861 times)

Thought i'd start a new thread rather than posting on the thread about The Georgian having a horrible receptionist

So by contrast I visited LMB on Saturday which is the 1st time in a while and I was struck by how nice the receptionist was on the phone even taking the trouble to say "Thanks for your call" after i'd made a booking.
I actually wonder if her main job is perhaps a receptionist as she was so professional  :unknown:

I arrived early so was sat in reception and she was really nice and chatty, a regular came in and she knew him by name then said he could go straight to the room and wait plus she'd bring his drink down to him

I did pick her name up as being "Sophie" though I have no idea if that's her real name or an adopted one for doing the reception, apparently she only does reception on a Saturday and has another job through the week

Not only was she really nice to chat to she was actually stunning to look at and I did wonder if she perhaps used to work the rooms, anyone know if she previously worked or perhaps still does as i'd like to punt her if it's an option  :unknown:

Not been there for years but when I did used to go the receptionist was generally a bit dour & uninterested, one of the reasons I don't go anymore, by contrast never had any problems at the Georgian  :unknown:

Thanks for the info BR. Like KK, my views of the LMB reception were less than favourable. One of the reasons I stopped going (the main one being the unreliability of the girls on the rota), but I might take another look as a Plan B.

Are Teresa and Nigel still involved with the place, and answer the phone sometimes?
Remember Nigel being a bit gruff at times, but he was OK, while Teresa was definitely the one with the communication skills.
