Punting Hotel Bournemouth/ Southampton

Hi, I'll be visiting Bournemouth or Southampton in the next few weeks.

Can anyone Recommend a "Punting Friendly" Hotel, where Any Friends could easily get past reception with out too much Bother, or am I overthinking this???

Travelodge Southampton Central in castle way! No problem there whatsoever! As soon as you enter the hotel, you do a Sharp right through the door which doesn't need a key pass straight to the lift!

Village Hotel Bournemouth, by hospital.Sharp left  at reception desk as if going to toilets. Take lift, no key req'd.

[Bunbury]

Village Inn Eastleigh, keep left of reception and lifts to the left.
The only hotel in Southampton I’ve encountered with key cards is the Premium Inn New Road.
Most of the other hotels okay.
