Having lost the urge to punt for a while, I decided to dip my toe back in the water again. As I'd been struggling a bit with a dodgy back I thought I'd try & kill two birds with one stone & go for a Thai massage & see if it re-ignited anything at the same time.

Booked a 30 min appointment, cost is £30 (still says £25 on the website). Premises are ok & on a busy main road, nothing amazing but not too bad either. A shower is available. The massage was excellent, it was from Lily who I found quite attractive. I would guess she's in her 30s or 40s & maybe a little bit 'curvy', but nothing I didn't like & she stayed fully dressed anyway. I was told to strip naked before the massage started. There wasn't a lot of conversation but Lily had a friendly demeanour & it was very relaxing.

As the clock ticked around towards 30 mins she was concentrating on the upper leg area, I was on my stomach so lifted myself up a bit to allow 'access', she started to massage where I was hoping she would & she said 'it's £20 for me to massage here'.

I didn't need asking twice, turned over & she applied some more oil & did what she needed to do. It was great, I lasted no more than a couple of minutes & left feeling very happy. I have no idea if anything more than HR is available, I didn't ask.

It's the first time I've been to a Thai massage place in the UK but it definitely won't be the last.

That's the standard fare for Royal Orchid.
A decent massage with HE for £20.
One of the few places that haven't increased their prices.

Don't expect any other services there.

Yeah, got exactly what I wanted/expected & the massage itself was really good.

I just thought it was worth mentioning that the basic massage is now £30, not the £25 it still says on the website, just in case anyone was to turn up with £45 & potentially end up with an unhappy ending. And the comment about other services is duly noted, if I'm in the mood for more than just a HE I'll go down the road instead.

Good old RO. Always consistent value and service and not much staff rotation. Lily broke my massage cherry about 5 years ago. She seemed pretty new to it at the time.

Did you feel at all rushed to perform in the 30 min slot? Sounds like you missed out on any other frontal massage and the chance at lots of sexy eye contact?

The two Chinese places on the same road offer more, but rubbish actual massage and inconsistent ladies.

If you venture to Hanley, the Chinese rotation place on Picadilly has some pretty girls, good for B2B or more. Maybe even something like Nuru.

Yeah, looks like I might have missed out on the frontal massage part. Didn't matter to me on this occasion though. I didn't feel rushed at all, possibly because it doesn't usually take me very long to finish.
