Most guys who mention reviewing before the service have no intention of actually writing one. They just think it's a tactic to get a better service. I just tell them I don't care if they write a review or not. It won't have any bearing on the service they receive. Same when guys say "If you do a good job I will come back and see you again"...so I'm thinking I should do a shit job so I don't have to see you again!!

Also I never request reviews from clients. If they ask me if they can review me(after the booking) I just tell them it's entirely up to them. I have loads of reviews already so it won't make a big difference. Cos I post on here guys do ofter mention the site but I never tell them to write anything about me unless they want to. It think it comes across a bit desperate.

I have to say there's a certain degree of irony in what you say Laura, though you may not be aware of it. How long have you been with HoD?
What you may not know is that for years Karl ran a sustained campaign of fake reviews on this site through various proxies and sockpuppets. It got so bad that there were actual suggestions of banning HoD/MKE reviews from the site. There were also suggestions that he was planting negative reviews about competing agencies and girls.
In view of what you say there's a degree of amusement in thinking punters are threatening to subvert HoD's reputation through planting false negatives. Not that doing so is right, any more than Carl planting fake positives was acting correctly. Both are totally incorrect to do.

That was before my time. I won't comment on it. Also I believe "Slamboy" was a disgruntled former employee of HoD or was acting on her instructions. I have no evidence of this. But some of things they posted  suggested that.

Also when people imply they are going to review. They don't say who they are. They probably are not even members...when pressed some even admit they are not members. And there are other review sites other than this one. Obviously if someone said "I'm on UKP ,my name is xxxxx and I will write you a bad review if you don't do xxxx" then I would report them. Buts it's more like a subtle hint.

My point really was to just show that the problems of fake reviews and manipulation can take many forms, though obviously trying to blackmail/induce you girls into something you don't want to do is about as low as it gets

As predicted no booking was forthcoming and he wasn't so keen to share his name with me  I'm not sure if he felt letting me know he was on here would help his cause or get him some kind of special discount or service but it makes absolutely no difference to me and he wasn't brave enough to ask

Not a good idea. Last year one SP didn't want to meet me because she found out (can't disclose how, but she did) my UKPT profile, and read my reviews. Contacted her again months later and she agreed for a meet (which was excellent), in exchange for me to promise I wouldn't publish any reviews anywhere.

I also feign ignoranace ( in many things not just about this site )  Ive seen  a few couples recently some have asked to put a reveiw on AW and when Ive seen again they have said " And we saw your reveiw on UKP  "  Ive never admittted to being member but if you get regular with them they work it out. A few WGs have asked me to join this site and reveiw them they know the reveiws on here are more powerfull in creating business than the AW ones    ( and finishing it too ) the AW booking system allows reviews that are short and useless how ever its maybe the only way WGs can see an honest punter  .....in its way it is a passport to some of the fussey girls out there
