Looking to visit Edinburgh next week and will organise a punt.
Prior to it I fancy a visit to the Western Bar.
Its 8 years since I last went there, is it still open and are the dances still as good ?

Just a long as you've not put on weight. The cubicles are very narrow. Prefer across the road.

Hasn't changed. Some stunning ladies, some average, some… well…..

No admission cover Mon/Thursday and £5 dances, can't go wrong. But the best dancer, the utterly gorgeous Erin, has departed for another establishment recently. Plenty left though.

And still a very friendly place.

Opening an unadvertised strip club in muirhouse or some hellhole would stand a better chance. Five quid for a dance behind a draped curtain made out of a piece of mildew-n-cum -stained bedspread with a private 'tip' for a quick shag. Would take too much manpower to shut down overnight and nobody would really care anyway. Whereas the Western Bar is probably bugged by bored boaby and seedy abolitionists on their backshift. Fucking years since there's been even a hand up a fanny in there or Burkies.

You know I was in the Western Bar about 18 months ago and there were too good looking strippers, well above the average, talking to two guys. After a few drinks they went down the stairs at the back of the bar. I went down the stairs to investigate and next to the gents there's a push button locked door. I asked on of the girls about it and she told me it was a lesbian show. All very strange, does anyone know what this is all about?

Used to love the western on a Friday haven't been for years might give it a try soon . Bridies , western and Burke and hair on a Saturday afternoon plenty people with a half pint in each bar going to which one had a go go on then off to the next one .

Went there a month a go was £10 for a  lapdance for 3 minutes. the lesbian show was £40 for 3 minutes, seemed way too expensive for me. It was free entry Sun- Thur before 7pm I think, and the only lap dancing bar open during the day. The girls were average looking for strippers, only one stunner out of 6 there, but she was so rude i never asked for a dance. only two of  the girls approached me even though i was the only guy there. And after just asking for my name and job (probably to see if i earned enough to support her and her multiple kids from different  fathers) she then asked me to buy her a drink, I politely told her to fuck off. Finally a group of 10 marines on a stag do walked in, so i left before they got loud and annoying. Didn't even have the football on the tv.

Indeed. A lot of them are cunts (not all Romanian either!) But you get human ones there on a day out occasionally. You really have to size them up. No-one has ever asked me to buy them a fucking drink - I think they can tell by my attitude and expression not to. If I go in I am there for one thing, to be traded at the fairest possible price (which is still extortionate). Never go at times when you have to pay entry if you can help. Never go at the weekend or Friday when the price of dances doubles. Go in shortly after they arrive and are bored as fuck cos no drunk dicks wasting wads.
