Unfortunately this site does work like that, if no one reviewed we wouldn’t have a site.
So you’re clearly active and taking from the site, but don’t want to give back

This is my opinion .. but it’s a bad move to ban OP considering he is a PAYING member. His annual payment should be enough as a contribution to the running of the site.

Even though he is banned, he will still have access to nearly all resources as a paying member does, as you can view reviews as a non paying guest. His membership is a fair exchange for asking questions imo

As a non-member he will be limited in views, often head1 turns this off so he will see very little, he won’t be able to search the site, see external links, see the massage section etc etc

Sadly in your opinion, paying for access, it wouldn’t work as the site wouldn’t have any reviews for anyone to read……. Or pay for? So the site would die very quickly.

He joined January 2021, had the fee for new members been introduced then? I do agree that a membership fee muddies the waters in terms of banning solely for lack of contribution. Of course, if the member has been requested to read the full rules before agreeing to pay then the site has covered itself.

PS. OP means opening/original poster, so the reviewer in this instance rather than the person who says they won't review.

I had been browsing the site as a guest for a year and don’t see much extra benefit as a paid user except from seeing pictures uploaded from other members. I chose to pay the membership as a form of contribution to keep the site running.

But not everyone will be thinking the way you did and that’s not just here that’s everywhere there’s selfish people in all walks of life and won’t go out way to help others only themselves

He should be banned, just leaching off others is not fair at all to this sites values. So he wants to read all our reviews so he can make a decision on who he has services from, but he will not contribute from who he has services from is totally wrong and does go against the ethos of this site.
