I'll probably get castigated for this, because I know it's not that important really, but I read Nestle are going to stop making Yorkie bars.

I absolutely love Yorkie bars, specifically the raisin and biscuit ones.
I'm bereft.

The company also said it was axing the Yorkie Biscuit bar, not to be confused with the Yorkie chocolate bar, which is "staying for good".

And they're scrapping the Breakaway biscuit too

Yorkies have shrunk so much that people probably don't buy them any more.

Same with a Kitkat "Chunky", basically they aren't anymore

Big shame. The Yorkie small pack of 6 *Club* type bars are super delicious.

Online hornypunter

It's just the yorkie biscuit bars they are discontinuing not the choc bars. I remember when they first came out with gge slogan Yorkie not for girls. You really did have to bite hard to get into the chunk . Can tell how times have changed and how smaller they have become no problem biting into them these days

:D wouldn't be allowed to make adverts like that today. Long gone are the days when adverts used to be funny or clever .  :dash:

The snickers ad is good. The one with two couples playing a game when 1 female suggests swapping and the other takes it the wrong way.

there was orange, Club (fruit) and Golf - plain choc which used to crack and you could eat most of it off leaving the biscuit

Then they rebranded them all as Club then the choices disappeared leaving orange last IIRC

Several days ago I had been talking to a male colleague about this advert. And how it would probably be deemed, unsuitable for today TV with complaints to the broadcaster.

I just hope the Mars Bar is safe.
There's a whole generation of us who would be missing part of our sex lives if they were ever discontinued

I couldn't believe that when I went into a chip shop in Dunoon years ago......the chap behind the counter reckoned they were his idea.
His other claim to culinary success was the battered deep-fried frozen pizza.
Along with battered fried black, red and white puddings

There are places in Glasgow similar to this chippy, where guys chat over a pint and smoke.
Their life expectancy around age of 39.
