Author Topic: How long until a cut heals?  (Read 1315 times)

This is punting related but perhaps best posted in OT i'm not totally sure so will put it here to be on the safe side

This is something i've thought about quite a bit over the years but Google searches hasn't been able to answer the question -

So basically if you obtain a cut or some other form of skin problem such as a mouth ulcer how long until it heals properly and can be considered to provide a barrier to infection  :unknown:
By barrier to infection i'm talking about a cut on your finger having healed and now safe to finger a girl and with a mouth ulcer healed and safe to kiss and give a girl oral

I'm not expecting one single timescale for everyone as different people heal at different rates and it can depend on the environment that the injury is in, for instance a finger cut may take longer to heal if it's covered by gloves required for work or gets wet / damp / dirty etc.
Likewise i've had mouth ulcers that seem to go away after 2 or 3 days whereas others can linger for 2 or 3 weeks

Anyway with a mouth ulcer i've historically waited until it appears to have 100% cleared up and then left it around a week before punting or i've avoided any kissing or oral on the girl but these are both important parts of a punt for me, sods law i've also been coming up to the week a few times and then felt the start of another one on the way  :dash:

I am assuming that a mouth ulcer is a way in which something could be theoretically be caught and I believe that it's related to Herpes Simplex so not fair to the girl either to punt while you have one  :unknown:

Likewise with a cut finger a week would seem like a reasonable timescale from the point that it appears to be fully healed to punt again  :unknown:

If I have a cut finger I wait until it's fully healed before I make a booking or you could whack a fresh plaster on it immediately before the booking but obviously don't do fingering with it.

A latex glove or condom on finger could be a solution, if both involved are agreeable.

Sudocrem can speed up healing,

I would say it takes the same time to individually boil 2588 eggs, but that does depend on the size of the egg and wether you like it runny or hard. Maybe say 3000 to be safe.

Sounds good except I think it would remove all the joy of fingering.

You could always try using your other hand? I know out of the box thinking.

Yeah i've thought of a latex glove / condom but don't see the point, as you say it would remove the pleasure

Yeah i've considered this too but it would be a bit like wanking with the wrong hand until you got used to it

It will depend on the person and maybe what your diet is like, as well as how big/deep the would is.

Promote Wound Healing with Good Nutrition

Choose vegetables and fruits rich in vitamin C, such as broccoli or strawberries. For adequate zinc, choose fortified grains and protein foods, such as beef, chicken, seafood or beans. Some wounds may require a higher intake of certain vitamins and minerals to support healing.

If I cut my self, I purposely scoff a lot more fruit / veg.  Can only be good for you even if the healing time isn’t affected.

OP but it's a bit of a chicken and egg question. Healing depends on the depth of the cut, a pepper cut will heal quicker than a knife cut whilst slicing vegetables.

Ulcers will heal quicker if you have good dental hygiene in the first place.

Basically anything that's exposed, cut, ulcer, teeth bleeding after brushing etc are all signs you should not be punting. You're nit only exposing yourself to the lady but the punters following.

If it doubt log into xhamster and have a wank, go to a massage parlour for a HE.

Why you feel the need to ask if it's ok is beyond me. Imagine if you went in after a sick bloke and caught something purely as he thought he was ok. It's not fit the faint hearted but there are precautions we can take.

Devils advocate, how would you feel if it was the WG?

Another consideration would be any underlying medical conditions, people with type 2 diabetes will find that cuts take longer to heal.

Sorry mate but WTF are you on about  :unknown: You've either not read or not understood what I posted and now trying to make out that I take risks and also put girls at risk while in fact the opposite is true  :dash:

For both mouth ulcers and finger cuts I stated that I leave it for a week after the wound appears to have totally healed, I then go on to state that it's not fair to the girl to punt if you have a mouth ulcer  :unknown:

Using your logic then anyone who ever gets a mouth ulcer or a cut finger can never ever punt again

I understand that cuts that bleed are good, because the blood will tend to clean the wound out, and will clot to seal the wound against infection.  It is the cuts that don't bleed that you have to be careful of.  If you are okay with gardening, or wiping your bum, then you are probably okay to go punting.

The mouth has lots of protection against infection.  Mouth ulcers are caused by one species of virus particularly adapted to that environment.  However, the ulcer is a good sign that your immune system is not up to full strength.  Best wait until you feel 100% fit.

Don't know about pepper, but getting salt in a wound is not good.

Maybe he meant 'paper' cut.   :unknown:

OP.....  If the wound is really nasty and infected, a handful of maggots might help heal it.  :scare:

I thought salt and sea water was good for wounds.
