Due to ill health I've not been able to do any punting for a year. But that's not stopped me from drawing up a list for when I've recovered.
But December 2023 I swapped from a crap 20Mb download speed with Sky to a rapid 1Gb download speed with BRSK which was cheaper. It's fantastic in every way but one, I can't access this site, I get a holding page telling me the ISP is blocked due to trolls. So I can only access my favourite site through my phone.
Can this block be lifted?

Where in the world does your ISP's connection come from?

I think that message is standard if you're running a VPN.

Is your device going through a VPN to this site?

If so, then you could try disabling the VPN and connect to the site again.

The ISP is UK based and I'm not using a VPN, and yes I have tried using a VPN but I get the same result.

Try contacting your broadband provider to see if they can unblock adult sites

Is the page you're seeing a UKP page or one from your ISP?

It sounds like it's a UKP page.

If it's a UKP page then your ISP is not blocking access, so no need to contact them about it.

If it's a UKP page then there's clearly something else happening at your end like your ISP is appearing on a blacklist of countries or ISP in UKP.

You could try using a VPN but using a non-UK country and see if that gets you into UKP.

This has helped before

This could be a setting on your iPhone / iPad.

Apple recently added new features to ‘Safari’ and you can change them in settings.

‘Settings’ -> ‘Safari’ -> ‘Hide IP Address’. This gives you several options and by default ‘Trackers & Websites’ is set to the default.  If you change this to ‘off’ this may resolve your problem.  Certainly has helped me with a few difficult websites.

Also recently this proved successful

Finally found the answer to the problem.
Tracking was blocked for trackers and websites.
Can’t believe how this has caused the problem.
Need to catch up on the reviews now.

Hi Head1, I don't have an iPhone/iPad. My phone is a Samsung and I can connect with my android software. The issue I'm having is on the windows pc. I use the Opera browser and it's always worked okay until I changed my ISP. I'll have a look through the settings and see if there's anything similar.

I found that I can’t login if my IP address is hidden. Check your security settings. One occasion my iPad made a suggestion to change settings so I agreed and then I got blocked.
