Author Topic: Recommendations for posh, plush and large roomed hotels?  (Read 1291 times)

Does anyone have any recommendations for a posh hotel with really large rooms
maybe even a seating area in London(any wear)?
Cheaper the better, a budget <£120
I've a booking at the beginning of October and want to feel like a king in a plush hotel.
Any ideas?
I have used the Rafayel in SW11 in the past which does tick all the boxes but they have stopped doing good deals....

Unless you find some sort of great deal site, I can't see that you'll get what you want with your budget. I would have recommended The Landmark, but you're looking at £300+.

All of the above for as much as £120!, anything else you want......butler service, helipad on the roof perhaps?

Good luck with that!

The last time I stayed in central London a couple of years ago I paid about £100 for a room only slightly bigger than a single bed!

We'll how else would I get there with outa heli pad?

I scored with the Rafayel paying £90 and getting up graded to a massive (Nile) room.
I've been spoilt and suppose I'm chasing the dragon now:(

To provide you with a general ballpark estimate of costs staying in a swanky upmarket hotel 5* in London,
based upon Friday night stay and check-out on the following day.

Think you're going to have to re-adjust your targets in line with what you only want to incur or fork out more dosh.

I've found prices are much better on sunday to monday stays rather than during the week.  So, you may get a better price by choosing your day carefully and well in advance.

Why not try an apartment?

Looks decent and pretty new at £100 mid October on a Friday night.
Other locations around London too on the page.

Never stayed in one myself though since travelodge is nearby at £50 sometimes.

St martins lane is cool. Basically take an account and host a party or event I don't mean sexual !  and you can get good discount on suites which would make it kool. BTW is it wrong to spend 3 times on hotel suite , meals than on the lady (encounter). I rather go downgrade so I don't look flash (with parents money) as considering overnight for the valentines thing . I'm going to invite a girl but if she's no go then I'm going to invite a trusted working lady. But overnights seem quire scary. So hopefully this girl I like will accept!
And also shud I take a lady who would be more comfortable in plush surroundings or one who would deem it as a treat?
Any super advice appreciated !
