I did read what you wrote, what has any previous adverts got to do with him turning up unannounced at her door?
The first part of your sentence is saying he shouldn't turn up, the second giving an excuse for why he did and explaining who the guy was with you claiming he wouldn't be surprised.
Firstly you have no idea what the bloke who answered the door was thinking unless you have some inside knowledge and that brings me to this point - "There was a good chance it was her husband as I do know a little bit about her status." you do know you have to declare any association you have with SPs don't you?

You must disclose any link that may be seen as biased if you're not just a customer. Sharing info must be for the benefit of other punters and not promote the business of others.
The fact is turning up unannounced at an SP's home is out of order and it doesn't matter if she works from there or has advertised the fact she works from there in the past, there is no excuse for it. Unless they work from a parlour with a shop front you make an appointment via phone call or txt message not by posting your phone number through the letterbox several times then knocking on the door.
