Anyone visited recently? Lost her number so went there unannounced to give her nine and call me so have her number again.But a man wearing pyjamas and a bathrobe opened the door. At 3pm! Said called for Ching and he called her. No problem with that. Was pleased to see me after a little while not visiting and sent a text.
Now who could he be, and why dressed like that? Anyone know?

Am I understanding this correctly? You turned up at a service providers home unannounced? and questioning who the guy was who opened the door?     With all due respect, what you did was indiscreet and inappropriate. Unbelievable

I have noticed that every now and then Diesel Driver starts a thread asking about Ching. This is the 4th or 5th thread since 2021 where he either asks or mentions Ching in the OP.

Not sure if this is normal and sensible behaviour, in fact I’d say he is a bit obsessed about Ching.

In fairness whilst I agree you don’t turn up at a SP'S gaff unannounced Ching in the early days advertised as a qualified masseuse and it was supported by a photo of her is proper uniform and looked like a genuine service, so dressing gown man probably would not have been surprised of someone enquiring for her.  There was a good chance it was her husband as I do know a little bit about her status.

Would you like it if after you'd had an outcall the provider turned up at your door at a later date. 

BTW I don't even turn up at my kids' houses without checking it's convenient first let alone an SPs house.

So thought I'd give it to her personally so she knows it's my number and not someone she doesn't want to see. As for being obsessed with her, wouldn't agree with that. Are you for real?? posting your phone number through an SP's home letterbox. Even if she does work from home, which would be at a time suitable for her BTW, who knows what issues it could cause.

I did read what you wrote, what has any previous adverts got to do with him turning up unannounced at her door?

The first part of your sentence is saying he shouldn't turn up, the second giving an excuse for why he did and explaining who the guy was with you claiming he wouldn't be surprised.

Firstly you have no idea what the bloke who answered the door was thinking unless you have some inside knowledge and that brings me to this point - "There was a good chance it was her husband as I do know a little bit about her status." you do know you have to declare any association you have with SPs don't you?

Zero tolerance for touting / advertising. You must disclose any link that may be seen as biased if you're not just a customer. Sharing info must be for the benefit of other punters and not promote the business of others.

The fact is turning up unannounced at an SP's home is out of order and it doesn't matter if she works from there or has advertised the fact she works from there in the past, there is no excuse for it. Unless they work from a parlour with a shop front you make an appointment via phone call or txt message not by posting your phone number through the letterbox several times then knocking on the door.

What I was saying is I agree that he shouldn’t just turn up but given her ‘professional' advertising I can see why Diesel Driver would think trying to get her contact number in that way would not have been an issue. You are the one who said "as I do know a little bit about her status." if just a punter what can you possibly know about her status.     I can only take what people post at face value. If you give the impression you are more than a punter I will question it.

No matter what she has chosen to tell you unless involved you don't know for sure what her circumstances are. You are also proving my point, I don't know anything about the bloke so that is even more reason not to turn up.

Now if you want to go against the general opinion on this thread that it is out of order to just turn up and say it's OK because she has advertised that is your choice, you have made your point so don't turn this into something it isn't or doesn't need to be, as you are starting to get personal I would suggest you leave it here. I don't dictate anything, that is something you are trying to use to mitigate your attitude. OMG, this has become so heated! As it was she was pleased to see me as I knew she would be. And got a text within minutes on way to car. So no harm done. Yes, I've not always given her a positive. However, I've seen her more times than reviews posted. So perhaps someone can tell me how to get a service providers number having lost it and unable to find it in the usual places they advertise?

If an SP isn't advertising their number in the usual place, and you can't find it by searching, then it would appear that they don't want to be found.

No, you wrong there. Would have been nice if she did. Came to the conclusion 'leave well enough alone.' That's why she sent me a text within minutes of giving her my number. Last few times seeing her no pressure. Know what to expect and happy enough with it.
