Had arranged this about 4-5 days in advance. Agreed date and time and then booked the hotel.

Confirmed night before and told her that if for any reason she couldn’t make it to let me know before 10:00 as that was the cutoff point for cancelling the hotel without charge. Got an affirmative from Natalie.

One last message at about 09:45 to Natalie just checking we were still good as was about to go and check in to the hotel. Got a message back confirming she was still good and was just setting off to come meet me.

Checked into the hotel. Paid for the room and then went off to the room to get showered ready for her arrival.

Checked my phone after I’d got out of the shower and kept the WhatsApp chat open. Saw her come online briefly just as the time hit 10:30. Thought that she must have just parked up and was checking the WhatsApp chat to get directions to the hotel.

Sent her a WhatsApp at 10:35 just to check if she was close by. Never got the second tick to say it was delivered.

Called her about 10 times between 10:45 and 12:00; straight to answerphone each time.

Had obviously either turned her phone off or blocked my number.

CONCLUSION

Obviously, fairly pissed off. I get that things happen sometimes and arrangements get cancelled. That’s life.

But to play along as if you’re coming until the very last minute and then ghost someone without any sort of reason or explanation is frankly piss poor. Especially as I’d given her ample opportunity to back out and told her that as long as she cancelled before 10:00 then there was no real harm done.

Have ended up out of pocket for the hotel room.

I’d avoid this one if I were you. She obviously gives zero shit about wasting peoples time, which is ironic as her AW profile states…

Think she has a husband, and they run a pub.. she makes excuses to have time out with the girls when really she meets..
Although think she said last week she was ill at some point..

Was messaging me up to 30 minutes prior to the meet. Her last message was literally telling me that she was just setting off to meet me. I understand that things happen, people get ill, something crops up etc. I’m not an unreasonable person. But to tell someone you’re on your way and then ghost them after they’ve paid for a hotel room is a bit of piss take.

All it would have taken was a quick txt to say ‘ something’s come up. I can’t make it. Sorry’. But to just turn your phone off and hide is just a bit gutless.
