Confirmed the time, which was in about 3 hours, went to the address she gave me, close to Earl's court, was a little early. Texted that I had arrived, waited at the bus stop right in front of her place, which I was grateful for, as it was raining.
While I was waiting, the guy next to me at the bus stop, who had been there a few minutes and I had assumed was just waiting for the bus, looked at his phone, went up to her place and rang. Clearly another punter.
I didn't think there were other WGs in the house, but on the off chance this guy was just seeing someone else, I stuck around for a bit, getting a bit stressed because my phone battery was about to run out. I started looking up her other reviews on here, and saw that this lack of communication was typical for her. At least it wasn't personal.
I could see she had read my message, and after a few more minutes, it was obvious I had been bumped, so I went home, very frustrated. I texted her that this was very disrespectful, though didn't expect her to care.
What a waste of an evening, especially as I live in East London, I essentially spent all of my time off traveling and waiting. Deeply frustrating.
Surprisingly, once I got home, she sent me a message, apologizing profusely, saying she forgot about my booking, that her day was very quiet, and that she was cleaning her kitchen. Clearly a lie.
She offered to knock off 10£ next time, and apologized again. At least she seems to make an effort, I would be willing to give it another try, in the hope that she would at least try to make it up with a decent service if I go see her.
