Can someone please explain Telegram to me?

I get the anonymity and not having to give our phone numbers but the local search function seems full of scammers and if I connect to my contacts I see a selection of my mates who obviously are up to no good just like me?!? I’m very confused by the whole App.

I've never looked at or used Telegram. But I'd imagine if you are using it on a punting phone, then you won't see which mates are also up to no good because their contacts won't be in your phone...

100% of people on nearby search are scammers. And they are all working off the same script. The girl will always start by asking where you are. And as if by magic they are a few streets away. Their price will be reasonable, they will do any service you ask. Then they want a gift card up front for her security! They are able to use apps to fake their location so it's likely they are not even in the UK.

I did try it in Dubai earlier in the year and it seemed like genuine working girls use it there. So maybe it works in other countries, but certainly not in London.

i don't use any facilities on Telegram other than the "non disclose your number". for that is good. I use WA or other apps for everything else.

When I’m in London and looking high end I use Diva and they encouraged me to download and use Telegram to arrange a girl.

It works a treat for that and as an agency they are super responsive but I don’t use it for anything else.
